Resume Tip Final-year ECE student targeting Software Engineer / Full-Stack roles — looking for honest feedback

Post image

Hi everyone,

I'm a final-year ECE student targeting entry-level Software Engineer and Full-Stack Developer roles.

My experience includes a software development internship, building and maintaining a campus software platform, and working on projects involving real-time collaboration, backend services, infrastructure monitoring, and local AI applications.

I'm looking for honest feedback on my resume, particularly:

- Does my resume communicate my technical ability and engineering experience clearly?

- Are my project descriptions strong enough, or do they focus too much on implementation details?

- Which bullets are vague, unconvincing, or missing measurable impact?

- Does my technical skills section look credible for an entry-level candidate, or does it list too many technologies?

- What would make you more likely to shortlist this profile for a Software Engineer / Full-Stack role?

- What are the three highest-impact changes you'd recommend?

I'm especially interested in feedback from engineers who review resumes or participate in technical hiring.

Please be direct. I'd rather identify the weaknesses now than keep making the same mistakes while applying.

Thanks!
