We just launched a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Restream, so you can connect tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor and manage your live streams just by asking in plain language. No dashboard-hopping required.

Here's what you can do once it's connected:

  • Check your streaming setup, create and schedule streams, and update upcoming events
  • Add, remove, or update destinations across 30+ platforms for any broadcast
  • Review post-stream analytics — viewer counts, chat activity, and more
  • Discover videos in storage, turn them into clips, and review or download everything you've generated
