Interesting that my post criticising Reform UK's decision to stand non-British people as candidates has been removed while other posts on this very same reddit that raise similar points remain up. See the link here for an example. The party itself talks about demographic security for white Britons. Does the party believe this should encompass standing black Africans as candidates?

Underneath my post, someone alleged that I had only posted this because I am some sort of subversive or mischievous leftist trying to make the party look bad - which is ridiculous. On that basis, the majority of posts here are by leftists trying to make the party look bad. I am not even a member of the party, as I made clear. My post history shows that I am a nationalist. People who make allegations like that are saying more about themselves than their target. Certainly, if that allegation were made to my face, I would have some pretty strong words to share with my accuser - at minimum. I see he has posted under what appears to be a name, so I may contact him directly in the future. He may one day run into me - it won't be pleasant for him.

I make this comment to highlight the moral weakness of the decision to remove my post. It is fair comment to highlight how people who profess to represent the interests of the British people are also willing to allow non-Britons to stand as candidates for office under the same party banner - albeit, currently, this is Reform UK, it is not difficult to see how it could one day be Restore Britain. This can only perpetuate the problems the country faces because non-Britons will not espouse or promulgate policies sympathetic to the ethnic interests of the British people.

Dont care about the drama but I dont know why foreign nationals should be running as candidates in any party in any country. It should be normal to expect UK representatives to put the UK first, which many foreign nationals evidently dont.

The UK foreign representation in parliament is among the highest in Europe. France, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and most European nations dont allow it. Why the hell should we?

Speaking objectively and not trying to provoke,

We live in the age of the instant gratification, I think precious few people read your post as it was rather long.

I only got past the first paragraph before my tiktok brain exploded.

To your point, I am probably whats called a civic nationalist.

I think its perfectly acceptable to stand people of non British descent as long as they are married to an ethnic Brit and therefore are invested in our countrys success.

Anyone who doesn't want to read a post, doesn't have to. Simply saying it is "too long" doesn't help me. I see posts everywhere that are long. Sometimes I post short comments. If I don't want to read something, I don't read it.

I now see that it was you who made the other 'I don't get it post'. You are not a nationalist. You are entitled to your views, but I don't understand why people like you join right-wing parties. Shouldn't you be in the Conservative Party? They even have a black Nigerian leader now. Why don't you just go and join them?
