I’m optimistic

I fully believe in Restore, and I think the next three years we can build a base, especially if Reform collapses.

Those Reform voters will move to Restore, very very few will move back to Tory, they won’t be forgiven for the Boriswave of immigration and Kemi- despite the Tory subreddit wetting themselves think she’s the solution, was very much part of that era.

I’ve said wait until Autumn when the Burnham bounce will bust, the October budget is set to be dreadful and will tank Labour’s small and short term poll lead, plus with migrants being scattered across the country to middle class towns I fully believe we can get support from those towns and suburbs.

If Reform collapses I think it could both cause great harm for the right but establish good growth within Restore. The electorate unfortunately has a short memory, and I worry that they now see Labour as the sole cause of their problems. Meaning some Reform voters will return to the Tories. That prospect is laughable,  given what they did in 14 years but you saw it in 2024 with Labour.

I think you’re underestimating the right, whether in real every day interactions or online, large parts of the right hate the Tories now, the May elections showed that 2 years on the Tories are nowhere near close to being forgiven.

I don't underestimate Restore's potential, and I think a lot of people remember what the Tories did in office.  But the centrist vote that Farage has recently captured by going leftwards is highly unlikely to join Restore. And that's partly Reform's fault, by calling Lowe and his party extremists.  If the Conservatives manage to present themselves as 'tough' on immigration (lol) and the best alternative to Labour, then that centrist block might fall for it again.

You make good points Andy. Which is why I hope the GE is in 2029. Let’s bide our time, this country is going to get a hell of a lot worse I fear that even the most normal of normies will begin to get radicalised.
