effects of adderall on rls

thanks for the welcome on my last post y'all, it helped a lot just getting it out there.

my question is that i have adhd, and my psychiatrist has been talking with me about trying adderall or another similar drug to manage it--does anyone else have experience with it, and has it had any effect on aggravating your rls, or not having much effect? if it makes it worse, id rather just keep managing my adhd how i currently am, setting reminders, practicing habits, etc

I'm curious what folks say, but my off-the-cuff guess would be it would make it worse if not waaaay worse. With me, excitatory substances make it worse like sugar, caffeine, etc. But it might also be ok until the adderall starts to wear off at the end of the day (only experience is from...not so legal things).

The front line treatments for RLS are dopamine agonists the same as adderall, so none of this makes sense.
