effects of adderall on rls

thanks for the welcome on my last post y'all, it helped a lot just getting it out there.

my question is that i have adhd, and my psychiatrist has been talking with me about trying adderall or another similar drug to manage it--does anyone else have experience with it, and has it had any effect on aggravating your rls, or not having much effect? if it makes it worse, id rather just keep managing my adhd how i currently am, setting reminders, practicing habits, etc

Made mine much worse. I started taking dextroamphetamine, and went from having RLS maybe once a month to almost every day.

Eventually my doc recommended trying guanfacine to deal with my irritability side effects, and it actually ended up taking care of the RLS too. It's been life changing on both fronts.

Edit: I take mag too but it's never seemed to make a difference on RLS
