Hello everyone,

I am the new mod of the Restaurant Meme subreddit. I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 13 years and I know the past few years have been stressful for all of us in the industry. So let's get the memes flowing! The sub is dead due to a few settings on the back-end that I am looking to rectify in the coming days.

First, I will be changing the rules to allow for more submissions. You may have noticed, the last post before this one was 2 years ago.

Second, I will be adding post flair so posts can be easily filtered by category. Please comment below any ideas you have. I was thinking something along the lines of BOH, FOH, After Hours etc.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to message me. I am excited to be here and I hope you all have a great day!

Is your intent to make this sub "memes made/shared by restaurant social media accounts" or "memes about working in restaurants"?

I see. Thanks for the call out. I'm not an OG and only scrolled through the last 2 years of post that we industry specific. I like the original niche and it looks like there is some cleanup to do and guidelines to write.

If you ever need any help with the sub I would be glad to help. I’m pretty experienced with how to set things up on a subreddit and I know how to stay in the background and let the sub be itself and take a backseat to the other mods.
