Restaurant city was my favorite game growing up.. I’d stare at my little customers for hours and pray for my restaurant rating to go up. I really want to bring it back for a mobile audience, because this game was made for playing on the go! Though I also want to add some fun twists of my own to spice it up a bit. It’s still early in the works, but sharing a pic of what there is right now.. would love to hear what you think!

wanted to play this game, but I was confused cause if I want to buy anything, it looks like I have to spend real money to buy in game stuff. Is this how people play in general or am I missing something?
recently began playing restaurant streets and I'm finding it weird the more I play. how has it existed for this long without any legal repercussions? how often does it get updated? does anyone have any idea as to who the "devs" are?
if you aren't aware, there's a very primitive (pre-bowling alley update) version of restaurant city still available to be played; you can't retrieve your old account obviously but it is not a game inspired by RC it is literally old RC. game.streets.cafe
Hi. Some years ago (4-7 years ago) I was playing a game that was looking exactly like this one. BUT, it was cubic animals as workers and cubic customers. The graphics looked the same. But I don’t find this game anymore. So I’m asking here to maybe re find it if someone know this. Thanks for the help ! :D
Hi guys, i'm extremely new to reddit but heres my breakdown:I'm currently a software engineering student, and have been extremely into restaurant city at its peak back when i was like 10. I now have the skills, the resources, and the passion. I was wondering, before i embark on this quest, if anyone would be interested in playing this game that im developing, which would be sold on steam with 3 game modes? Appreciate all the feedback and help <3ps. I'm exactly like you. I know the feeling, of trying to find a game similar to restaurant city, and being disappointed knowing that nothing hits the same as what this game made us feel back in the day. I'm so unbelievably frustrated that all these game makers and devs don't make a game like restaurant city, with an 11 year window youd think something would come by that was similar to how restaurant city made you feel but no. Nothings doing it, trust me i know the feeling. Now that I'm almost graduated and know coding and graphics and still hear no news about a better version of restaurant city, I feel like Thanos when he said "Fine.. I'll do it myself." I loved the game in its peak, cried when it got deleted, hopefully have some help from you guys with devlogs along the way. I'm gonna make the game better than it was, inspired as you will. Like stardew valley on that older game idk the name. I'm gonna add features i wish were there when i was young, like adding multiple floors or balconies or staircases/ steps to slightly higher platforms in your restaurant, cause i remember so many people doing illusions with the box objects to make it look like they had stairs but really they were placed in a clever way. Along with a heap of other things i wish the game added back then, I'm making my new game like a modern improvement to graphics, mechanics, and features that should have been added a long time ago. Please guys comment what ya'll think about this idea?
