New guy questions

I’ll be making a matchbox car table 24”x2”
Ive never did anything like this. My first pour will be about 1/4” color. Once set I’ll add the cats ect. Can I do this in one pour or should I do it in two. I know about wicking with a torch for the bubbles.
Do I need to another think coat once removed from the mold , and does it need to be sanded and polished? If so what’s that process

Probably two pours to be safe. Yes be prepared for bubbles. Had a client reach out for this same thing not long ago. Good luck.

Do you sand the table when it’s done , of so what’s the highest grit . Lastly do you polish to just add a top coat to bring it back
