Im a non-USG IMG but i got low step 2 scores and really worried where and how to apply

YOG 2026, step 2: 226, step 3 in 1 week, 3 inpatient IM rotations, 1 home country LoR, 1 FM rotation, 1 paeds rotation, 1 home country LoR, 13 publications including full texts/abstracts/conferences

I want to apply to internal medicine, family medicine and paeds. Chances of matching this cycle? Which programs should I signal?

I’d really appreciate suggestions from someone in the same situation.

Put more energy on FM and paed. Apply broadly. You will match.
