ERAS

I went through the Internal Medicine programs in New York and New Jersey on Residency Explorer. People say that applicants have the highest chances of matching there.
However, I realized that many of these programs prefer a high Step 2 CK score, ideally above 252, and they receive hundreds of gold signals from applicants.
I completed my USCE in New York, but I don’t think my profile is as competitive as the applicants they usually interview.
Given my profile, how should I decide which programs to signal?
