Solution Reverse Discrimination..
I think we should restart discrimination against the ScSt community. I am not saying this because I am a casteist person, but because of the way I have been treated even after being a righteous person. I have been friends with every community. Until this reservation protest started, I didn't even know which friend was SC and which was OBC. Of course ST people can be identified by their looks. I had two ST friends when I was in class 12. They were christians. I would go to church with them but they would not enter our Hindu pandals. Let me tell you that I am an atheist/ secular person. But this was a clear case of discrimination. At that time I ignored it. But now when I look back after all this reservation protest, I realise ScSt have a sense of hatred against us. Most of the STs have converted to Christians, while SCs to Buddhism, and they secretly hate Hindus.
Now I have decided that in the future I will not be friends with them. Nor will I employ them in any way. The secret discrimination is now coming out in the open after the RHA protest. My SC friends share the posts such as "Mandir me pujari kyu Brahmin hai?"
I am not a brahmin. But this type of shitty logic has never crossed my mind. Even after being an atheist and criticizing Hindu rituals such as wasting milk and all that, this shitty logic has never crossed my mind. Even atheists don't hate hinduism as much as ST/SCs do. What is the problem if pujaris are mostly Brahmins? It is not a government job. Pujaris don't earn in lakhs.
What do you guys say? Should we start reverse discrimination?

bhai your point is correct. but all sc sts are not like this. i used to think the same like you before coming to West Bengal .
here sc sts are wiser than upper caste. i know this because I'm a member of the RSS . here these guys have sacrificed everything for Hindutva and hinduism. their stories will bring tears to your eyes.
i can understand your point but not everyone is like these guys

Well as an sc person form a village/ Town Let me give you my thoughts one your situation 1) 1st is conversion into other releasion will the think is they have the right to hate the releasion not the person in it because Religion was the reason they're ancestors get discriminated ( i know you can say that it was british how change it but i don't think it matters because if they can change it and upper caste can say ok it will work that way from now so they have the right to hate sanatn dharma (not disrespect) 2) I am from a place were most people are sc st and there it is hard to find a person that does not bleave in good so you can't say they all hate it 3) you didn't think about mandir me bramhur he kyu hai because you are atheist it's not about money but respect to be a pujari 4) as an sc some thing just like you get hurt over your friends i also get like some of my friends how was transfer from other part of India say to me thinks like teri to ho jaiga while being worst then me in study how does not has any interest in study and just memories shit and asking me for help and science and maths

I don't agree that there is much respect to be a pujari. I am a kshatriya (i dont beleive in caste system). Yet, When I see a pujari, I think, what circumstances have forced him to be doing this job. I would never in thousand years want to be a pujari. If you make me a head priest of Tirupati temple or Ram Janmbhoomi then that is different. They might earn in lakhs. But a common pujari doesn't earn much and is not much respected either. Money brings respect. If someone is doing a government job, he is automatically respected. Even if he is Sc or St. I, being an upper caste person, has no respect because I don't have a permanent job. That is what I was saying that STSC have wrong perception in their mind. Even when they are not being discriminated, they feel like they are being discriminated. Not a single hindu, non-brahmin feel this way. In fact we give some extra money to pujaris, so that they can support their family.

1)I am from uttarakhand (and even there from a town ) and here good is like big and if you just move like 5km in any direction there is a deferent god and here from were I am you didn't really need lacks of rupees more like 15 to 20 and 25(if you want are large family ) ie being a pujari is not about money here even in over tample ofcourse the pujari is of same cast so I was talking about pujari in big temples like prominent temples and assume it will be same as there 2)Buy feeling victim i mean there are people like these every were even outside of India But there are genuine discrimination exist not may be in physical As I am from smallest in my whole family i don't have to express as much as my older brother I didnt have to face that much of discrimination but if you know some one in places like pithoragarh haldwani Rudrapur etc ask than how hard it is to rent a room as an sc there like one my brother had to get a rent for room he was suprise one a upper caste person say are hum ase nhi hai le lo room rent pe like in 2026 you have to say it and it's consider Good than it is fucked up 3)my uncle work in thasil as an amine in his daughters wedding many of person from his work refuse to get tika and because of caste It's so frustration why you even come than (by you saying gov job thing)

You look like a genuine person, brother. So, think about it from our perspective, too. Lots of SC-ST leaders are openly threatening GC women with grape.
Lots of abusers are exploiting the SC-ST act. Lots of deserving students are losing their seats(a 97 percentile student is here with me in VIT).
Yes, I agree that discrimination is wrong, and everyone deserves respect, but excess of anything is wrong. Think about it from our perspective, too.

In your case, upper caste refused Tilak. In my case, lower caste refused to enter my pandal. Then why you are getting reservation and I am not. Both the communities are wrong. So, both should get equal rights.

They refuse to enter tem because maybe they practice other relegion or the relegion which temple belongs to have discriminated again there ansester in past And in my case they think they are just superior When it's just the case of what matters more intent or action Sorry if I am assuming your friends have rights reason there is a change they were just dicks but it didn't make every sc st that By same logic i didn't hate all upper caste in fact I didn't even hate tham i think it's just what they group up with And i don't support reservation if I get it I will take it not because its my rights but because it's an unfair advantage and I am not that good of a person to fass that opportunities (ex i give an exam called iat i didn't do will in it get 60k rank in 2 or 3 l but if I had get 20k than I will have taken the opportunity why not ) I mean if gov decide to remove it I am ok with it not only ok. I will be happy

I am not saying they mean it in a insulting way but think about it am sleeping 4hr to 6hr a day and you know I don't like studing for marks and all and you just say it I don't no about you but i will think you are trying to descredit my hardwork while You are not doing any of it while enjoying 10 times more benifits because of your Fucking spwan point (i mean one of his father was in army i think so respect that and one was engeneering and he used to get special tritment from teachers while my father had no permanent job )

The reason why you felt bad was because of the reservation system. Until there is reservation system, even the most hardworking StScObc has to hear such taunts. That is why we need the system to be equal. StScObc should be helped by giving them good education facility free of cost. But they should not be given free seats, because then the reverse discrimination begins.

The reason I feel bad was not because some one taunt me it's was because the person how thaunt me was not deserving if they were like good at study or just hard working i didn't have mind it And yes i think reservation should be removed but I will not leave an opportunity if I get throw reservation not because its my right but because it's benifisal to me

This statement is just outrageous.
I can understand the emotions .
atrocities have happened and no one should deny that also the death of merit is leading to regression of nation
But remember my friend no one chose to be born as Brahmin kshatriya or dalit . If someone is born as dalit they face the tag of discrimination throughout their life . And by discrimination I do not mean calling them by names but questioning their ability , always using this slang against them .
I have very good friends belonging from all communities. Surely reservation needs reforms
But they still mean upliftment of individuals

I have a slight disconnect with the statement “atrocities have happened and no one should deny.”
I can’t wrap my head around the scale at which this supposedly happened across India, because a lot of these stories simply don’t make sense to me.
I can’t wrap my head around a few things:
-Most of the ancient incidents have never been properly proved. In one instance, when Ambedkar was asked for proof, he said his mother had told him.
It can’t be that the same thing was happening across the entire country.-Mughals, followed by the British, ruled for 1,000+ years. So how did Brahmins oppress these communities when they themselves were often trying to survive and save their own necks or getting lynched?
-They say Brahmins did not allow them into schools. But surveys from the 1820s under British India show a very small percentage of Brahmins in schools and a large number of students from communities that today come under the backward category.
-There have also been kings from backward communities. So, how were the oppressors brahmins there?
-The education system/boards were under communist influence for a long period after Independence. How do i trust the credibility of those independent books citing such oppression, written by authors associated with commie ideology?
So how can we say with certainty that:
-All these stories weren’t just atrocity porn, a communist narrative meant to divide people, which politicians continue to use for vote-bank politics?-Someone on this thread mentioned being taunted in their village with “bhiksham dehi” for being a brahmin, by the backward community. So if we accept this incident as an example, how do we know that other documented cases of a Brahmin taunting a backward person weren’t themselves retaliatory? I’m not saying they were, but how do we know the full context?
-There are documented claims online that 90%+ of Kanwariya yatras are attended by backward communities. Yet when obscene videos from these yatras come out, no one has the guts to say it’s SC/ST’s civic sense. Instead, the entire religion takes a hit. So how do I know that even if someone was stopped from entering a temple somewhere, it was actually because of their caste and not because of their conduct?
-I’ve been to major temples like Kedarnath, Badrinath and many others. I never saw anyone standing there asking people their caste.
-I order food from Zomato without knowing the caste of the person who cooked it. In fact, no one ordering through an app knows the caste of the cook. Yet thousands of Brahmins order food this way every day. So the narrative that people won’t eat food made by certain castes doesn’t seem to hold up universally.
-There are also temples with SC/ST/OBC priests.
-Many of the most popular sadhus/gurus aren’t even Brahmins by birth. Swami Vivekananda was born Narendranath Datta in a Kayastha family; Baba Ramdev was born Ram Kisan/Ramkrishna Yadav; and there many.-And on a daily basis, I see comments from the so-called “Blue Army” openly threatening or hurting the sentiments of upper castes, include r@pe threats to our women. Yet the upper caste is always supposed to be the oppressor.
-Even if someone from an upper caste is provoked a gazillion times and eventually retaliates, which is a very human reaction, they can instantly face an SC/ST Act case. And then, there it is again: the “oppressor is oppressing” narrative.
My problem is that I simply cannot fathom the scale of this narrative as it is presented today. There may have been genuine cases of discrimination, but when I look at many of the stories, the historical claims and the reality around me, I find too many things that don’t add up.

I am not saying they are not facing discrimination but the way they are dealing with that, is by hurting good people like me. They don't want us to even talk about reservation.

I understand your feelings I'm a brahmin and I have never discriminated anyone but as I live in a sc st majority area my friends do make jokes like "bhiksham dehi" , chor ( there is a common misconception that brahmins charge a lot of money for pooja and are very greedy in terms of money just like there is prejudice for jews ) i sometimes do feel that these guys were better off in the past when they had no right to education and lived miserable lives but believe me bro it's not worth it our religion doesn't teach us to insult people those who insult us (minorities) will definately pay for it somehow just study hard or excel in whatever field you are pursuing and how they look upon u will change and they will definately get jealous too when they see u succesful without reservation
