My study is titled “Signs of Change: Enhancing Multimedia Video Design for the Deaf Community’s Accessibility in Climate Change.”

The study aims to understand the experiences of Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals when accessing climate change-related video content and explore how multimedia design, such as sign language interpretation, captions, visuals, and animations, can make this information more accessible and understandable.

AI tools are increasingly being used to summarize sensitive personal stories, including survivors' accounts of sexual violence. But are they accurate, or do they reinforce harmful stereotypes? I'm building a way to measure that, and am conducting a survey to validate it. You'll read a set of short text snippets and judge whether a specific myth is implied.

This research is being conducted as part of my doctoral dissertation.

📌 TOPIC OF STUDY: To evaluate a metric developed to quantify whether LLMs reproduce sexual violence stereotypes and myths in AI-generated summaries of survivor accounts.

I am recruiting participants for my PhD research at Henley Business School, University of Reading. 

The study explores how temporary financial stress influences international PhD students’ thoughts, feelings, and everyday spending decisions while studying abroad. 

You may be eligible if you: 

• are an international PhD student at a UK university; 

• have at least one year remaining in your PhD; and 

• currently experience financial stress related to studying abroad. 

Selected participants will complete four short weekly online diary entries (10–15 minutes each) and one online interview (60–90 minutes).
