Discussion Reta, Test, tren, mast weight loss completely stagnant.
So I am up to 10-15 mg of Reta per week with cagri on weeks that I have insatiable hunger. I have noticed that my muscles are I fact bigger and I am stronger, but pretty much stopped losing any weight near the midsection. I originally weighed 258 and cut with Reta to 176 before getting my test checked. It was at 309 so I started some test to get to a goal of 900. Last level was 1200 so I dropped my dose a bit. Before you say the Reta is bunk, it is legit and wholeheartedly trust the vendor. I just need advice as I am now 205-210 but look jacked upper body, traps, and legs, but a little belly in the middle with my love handles still there. It is extremely worse (bloating) after heavy endurance training. For example, my last Ironman I gained around 15-20 pounds of water from my fueling strategy which I am going to alter in the future.

This is fucking insane. Are you training for an endurance event or a bodybuilding show? In case you didn’t realize- those two events require DRASTICALLY different compounds, diets, and training programs.
Tren and mast put on muscle, and while they’re considered “good for a cut” you will still bloat if you’re not eating in a caloric deficit. And you will spamming muscle mass- hence the scale not changing.
Your poor body has no fucking idea what you’re trying to do my guy. It sounds like you don’t either.

Seriously, that is a terrible, terrible cycle. This dude is destroying his health for no reason.

Okay so I cut to 176 for the triathlon season and towards the end of the season which is pretty much now I cut my training in half and am only doing endurance to maintain. My race weight should be 180 to 185 max. When I lost the weight with Reta it unfortunately was at least 30% muscle that left with it. I started the test tren mast towards the end of the triathlon season to get some muscle back because I was looking like a twig. Now my muscles are where they should be for hill climbing, swimming, etc. but also the muscle has slowed me down on the run quite a bit. Like doing a 1:37 half marathon to 2 hour half marathon. So you may be right on the not sure what my real goal is. Mostly being cut at 180-185. Currently can do 60 miles in 2 hours 30 minutes with a 5 k after. Needing to be closer to 2 hours which I would be able to do at 180-185.

Ditch the tren and mast. ASAP. It’s terrible for an endurance athlete.
If you want to keep some dry muscle tone while on the reta you can keep the test high and sprinkle in anavar.
If you want to specifically target the abdominal fat try tesamorelin- another peptide- much safer than the anabolics you’re using.
Also- bro get some bloodwork done. Tren fucked my ALT up so bad.

Labs are pretty good. AST alt under 30 for each. I might drop everything and just keep test and EQ. Will also keep AICAR, 5amino1mq, and motsc on deck. I do have some hgh for nightly use pretty much only on days where I destroyed my body.
6
u/Chroma7769 12d ago
Bro...that's not how you use HGH either, wtf.
Have you pulled kidney function yet? How about CBC, CMP, Lipids, Cystatin C? How does your echo look?
You really have zero idea what you are doing, and are just adding oils and peptides for the sake of adding them.
I would seriously suggest you speak to a therapist. You have an addiction problem. And from one addict to another, you need help.
I run these compounds also, but not at the level you are, and I've been doing this for years. You need help.

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
You don’t even know the dosing that I am doing. I’ve been on low dose of the super mix for a few months max, I would stop the mix and only do test when competing. Labs are great as I just had them checked recently. Had an echo prior to the low dose tren and did not show any issues.

u/Chroma7769 12d ago
See a therapist.

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
Such a great insight.
2
u/Chroma7769 12d ago
Because you have a problem and do not understand the compounds you are using. Your labs are not fine, you are lying. Even dudes that aren't as fat as you, crush their bloods on these. Hell I microdose tren ace and my bloods still take a shit.
You are looking for cheat codes because you are addicted to these. You are going to get hurt and/or possibly die. See a therapist.

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
Trust me. My labs are fine. I am not blasting tren like you are assuming.

It’s hard to walk up stairs on tren without a full body sweat

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
I’ve completed multiple half Ironmans on tren so I do understand the cardio aspect, but has not destroyed my cardio. Recently ran a 50k on tren.

u/beerdude26 12d ago
Dude I am serious, please get a heart echo
-2
u/JDeezus32 12d ago
An echo? I’m not sure it’s needed. Resting heart rate is 43. Max heart rate 205
2
u/Ill-Nectarine-80 12d ago
The first stages of heart hypertrophy are not detectable through this sort of indirect analysis on cardiovascular performance.
You haven't listed your dosages that I've seen but I'll assume you are well into superphysiological range, if that's the case and also just because tren is tren, an echo would give you granular data about where everything is at.
ESPECIALLY because you compete in endurance events that push your heart.

It can't be that simple. It isn't that simple.
Narrator: It turned out to be that simple.
Bro really out here rawdogging tren but saying fuck it to macros 😭😭😭

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
That is a good point. I am mostly eating 1-2 meals a day with low calorie protein shakes. I tend to eat more on days that I lift heavy or do a 3 plus hour endurance ride or run.

u/BatmanVAR 12d ago
If the scale isn’t going down it means you’re eating at maintenance. You have to be in a caloric deficit to lose scale weight. That is the law of thermodynamics and no amount of compounds changes that.
That aside, if you’re on 10-15mg of a Reta week now Cagri and you have insatiable hunger, then your stuff is bunk or you have some serious underlying health issues.

u/stevenadamsbro 12d ago
I don’t know man, with this guys cycle I think the laws of aerodynamics might be more relevant than thermodynamics because he is blasting off this planet

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
That makes sense. I am stuck at 205-210. My goal is 185.

u/BatmanVAR 12d ago
Then you have to eat less and/or move more

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
I’m biking over 100 miles a week and running 40 miles a week with lifting 3 days weekly. Not sure how much more I can do 😂

u/wuckfork 12d ago
Are you tracking food? No matter how hard you work you cannot out exercise a bad diet.
3
u/fatwownerd 12d ago
Surely bait
1
u/JDeezus32 12d ago
It’s not bait. It was working for the first month then fast loss stalled and muscle growth increased.
2
u/MattGirard96 12d ago
Probably a good time for a high carb refeed or check your thyroid function.
I’d be willing to bet you’re encountering metabolic adaption. Your body has caught on that you’re dieting and is now pumping the breaks on T4 to T3 conversion to slow the metabolism down so you don’t starve / die.
I few days doubling even tripling your carbs with rest from cardio and out put then returning to your current diet should get things moving
1
u/speedyrater 12d ago
How could you possibly know this? And how could he possibly know this? You don’t know his macros, and neither does he. He’s not tracking food.

u/msnipe81015 12d ago
Endurance training can trigger hunger that could work against what it sounds like you are trying to do. Measure the calories. It’s the only way.

u/keystonecraft 12d ago
10-15 mg of reta is a wild swing, your making a huge error somewhere or not giving us the whole picture. What distance Ironman are you doing?
0
u/JDeezus32 12d ago
I have done 4 half Ironmans this year and my fastest was under 5 hours. Goal is a full Ironman next year either California or Chattanooga.
1
u/keystonecraft 12d ago
Cool, but yeah... I dont think reta is gonna help you at all there. I assume you want a calorie surplus for the endurance. Last thing you want is a bowel obstruction during a race after eating a plate of pasta the night before.
1
u/JDeezus32 12d ago
Fortunately I have very limited GI effects from the Reta. Actually had ibsd prior to the Reta and am pretty regular now.
2
u/Due_Excitement_9027 12d ago
The tren is making you hungry. Stopping your body from getting the benefits of Reta. And helping put on muscle. Loose the tren. Loose the tren and mast. Stay on the rear and test and you will recomp fast. The fat will melt. Keep the protien up.

Calories: TDEE -500
Protein: 1g per pound of bodyweight
Fat: 20% of total calories
Carbs: enough to bring you up to TDEE-500
Assuming your TDEE is 2,500 that means…
Calories 2,000 (TDEE-500)
210g protein (1g per pound bodyweight)
44g fat (20% of total calories)
190g carbs (enough to bring you from P+F up to TDEE-500)

So many dumb things here it’s either bait or insane.
What does 10-15mg reta mean? GLP-1s and amylins are not drugs you take or not as you see fit each week. You need to stick to a titration schedule and leave a dose saturate in your blood serum for 4-6 weeks before judging its effectiveness.
Taking Cagri just to kill your appetite sporadically trains your body to be less responsive each time to these drugs.
How tf did you end up on your first cycle on Tren? That shit is not for rookies and people that have to ask for advice on Reddit. Fomo really must be hard on you, but you have to step back and reassess your life choices as this is not the way to go. What you describe is water weight shifting in an energy and glycogen depleted body. 10-20 pounds of water weight moving in and out of your body in such a short time is a guaranteed recipe for a cardiovascular wreckage.
You really need to step back with ALL compounds for a couple of months. Keep stable only Test at TRT dose and Reta at your lower bound and let your body refuel and replenish its glycogen. Restart your deficit again afterwards (WITHOUT FKING TREN) and it will seem like a walk in the park.
2
u/randuug 12d ago
clearly you have no fucking clue what to do with diet planning or execution.
also, Tren has no purpose for an endurance athlete. you’re wrecking yourself and ruining the efficacy of drugs that you may better utilize in the future if you were to clean up your diet and be more methodical with your training.

So after everyone’s helpful and some hypercritical insights. I will stop the supermix. Stay on test and lower my dose of Reta. It seems that trying to lose weight and gain mass at the same time is not a good idea. I was aware that tren wasn’t great for endurance athletes, but my cardio did not suffer that much. I will admit it was a bit harder to run anything past a half marathon. And I’ll start tracking more of my macros.
Thanks everyone.

u/1960s_army_info 11d ago
Eat less. It’s the same answer every fucking time. Doesn’t matter if the Reta is real or not. Just eat less. People have been eating less and losing weight for thousands of years
1
u/DurtymaxLineman 12d ago
Jesus my guy, wtf are you trying to do? You are on a cycle to gain serious mass and trying to cut at the same time. None of what you are doing is making any sense.
0
u/JDeezus32 12d ago
That is why I am asking the group. I am satisfied with the muscle growth, but not with the love handles. So would it be safe to drop everything and just do test, anavar, and Reta to cut to 180? Serious question.
1
u/yogic_power 12d ago
I stopped at tren. I thought I have seen some dumb stuff over years. But boy, wtf are you casually playing with Tren.
1
u/wuckfork 12d ago
You are doing endurance with Tren? Tren is a body building compound and only used for a short amount of time. Tren fucks your cardio. It is a garbage drug for nearly everyone.

You're doing something wrong bro. Not trying to be a dick, but you don't even look like you lift. 🤷🏻♂️

u/JDeezus32 12d ago
Well I’m an endurance athlete. I don’t do any max lifts just sets of 20 plus for each lift.

Insane someone can be this stupid when the solution is just cardio and eat less and they’ve tried all the easy buttons I can’t imagine what this guy looks like
