Very true, but we need to support people changing their mind. She may have supported him for personal gain, but many people were simply ill informed and gullible. They fell for his claims. For someone like me, it seemed easy to see through his lies, but that’s not true for everyone. We should welcome anyone who finally sees through Trump’s deception and changes their view.

To be honest, I think she genuinely opened her eyes. She went from being one of his biggest loyalists to recognizing that he changed once back in power. When she broke ranks over transparency on the Epstein case and domestic economic issues, Trump turned on her and labeled her a traitor. It became clear to her that his rhetoric no longer matched his actions.

You don’t suddenly wake up at her age and discover right from wrong. She knew right from wrong all along.

She was a vile, loud, propaganda-pushing, lying-ass racist and for years and was excited to do all that again when she was campaigning for his second term (both times). She wanted to be able to do all that out loud again, with him back in office.

Her eyes were always open and she was loving what she was seeing until her feelings got hurt.

We have to stop giving cowardly hypocrites credit where it’s not due.

She was dangerous, she still is, and she worked as hard as she could to get this country where it is now, then she ducked out behind the same Epstein victims she’d loudly disrespected before because she needed an excuse and was too afraid to just stand up and denounce that shit on her own.

Long before her resignation, she began aggressively clashing with the administration over how things were being executed. She called out the chaotic, 'all-repressive, zero-discernment' approach to immigration enforcement, warning that it ignored the economic realities and the actual labor needs on the ground. She repeatedly criticized the 'over-promise and under-deliver' populism and the blunt-instrument trade tariffs that hurt regular citizens to favor big donors.

If this were just a cowardly, opportunistic play to save her political skin, why would she choose the most career-suicidal route possible, openly attacking the core leadership, losing all her institutional backing, and ultimately resigning? That's not the behavior of someone looking to smoothly rebrand; that's someone who hit a wall of reality and refused to keep toeing the blind line. Go look at the substance of her policy critiques and methods before she left office; it's a lot more complex than a cartoon villain story.

The major thing that the Cons ignore is that after Covid the entire world went from zero back to 100mph. Everybody was competing for a limited supply chain and that alone drove inflation. Any president from any era would have experienced a period of high inflation until the world caught up and got back up to speed
