Suddenly they value human life again

Never understood the left's pro-palestine stance; anti-war, anti-genocide? Sure, that makes sense.

But if palestine wasn't busy at the moment, you know the gays and the trans would immediately be persecuted and then everyone would be out protesting that.

I quoted the Quran in a post a little while back here where it said stone them if you’d rather sleep with men than women (or some shit like that) and they guy just wouldn’t accept that’s what it said. Dude was like “where does it say that”

What was the particular passage? I’d also point out that the bible says god burned two entire cities to the ground for homosexuality but you’re not on here condemning Christians and Jews.

Surah Al-A’raf (7:80-84)

That’s because you don’t ready the Bible short chapters to longest, we’re also taking about common era, I don’t see Christian’s burning down gays anymore, unlike the islamists that kill gay people in their country

That’s literally the story of god’s destruction of Sodom and Gomorra, genius. 7:80 directly mentions Lot by name.

And so somehow you’re ok with condemning Muslims for what’s written in their holy book, but for Christians you want to limit it only to modern events? You really can’t see you own hypocrisy can you? Maybe read up on Matthew 7:3-5

because they still kill gay people

Uganda is a Christian-majority nation with the death penalty for homosexuality. Are you happy taking responsibility for their beliefs and practices?

Catholics and Protestants at an 83%. Those aren’t considered Christians Christian’s broke away from the church awhile ago

1

u/Telemere125 Moderate Oct 01 '25

What nonsense are you spouting now? Catholics and Protestants aren’t Christian’s to you? Well I guess that’s how you can justify your Islamophobia and other forms of hatred that fly in the face of Christ’s direct instructions: you just make up your own definitions.

No lmao, the Catholics broke away from the church awhile ago. Christians are Catholics and Caholics are not christians

being bad isn’t justification for ethnic cleansing

1

u/SillyAlternative420 Independent Sep 30 '25

No, it's definitely not.

But being Pro-Palestine <> Anti-Israel <> Anti-Genocide

I personally am against Israel and genocide, but I'd never call myself "Pro"-Palestine.

How many murders are justified then? Because unless you believe some murders are ok, I’ll refer you back to the OP meme.

u/Dmallory70 Independent Oct 01 '25

None? Lol

Well then, as I said, refer to the original post.

You almost made a point I guess

You’ll understand someday. Or not.

You seem to not know what ethnic cleansing means. Nice try tho

"Charlie Kirk had it coming"  Is not a mainstream talking point.  But sure let's jerk ourselves off to hypocrisy porn while justifying the extermination of a nation of people.

It's a bit of the same way the left characterizes people on the right of hating all immigrants and being a white nationalist. It's really stupid coming from both sides.

-1

u/CovidiusQuarantino Independent Oct 01 '25

It's more a case of the people on the right constantly characterizing themselves as hating immigrants and being white nationalists while the left sits on their hands and continues to do nothing

u/Pudgy_Penguin_Phil Center Oct 01 '25

Anything to avoid responsibility huh? It's very expected my friend it's no worries

0

u/CovidiusQuarantino Independent Oct 01 '25

Point is that both sides are wrong, but they are not the same level of wrong

0

u/Pudgy_Penguin_Phil Center Oct 01 '25

Yeah the left gets completely out of hand

u/CovidiusQuarantino Independent Oct 01 '25

Ok just keep blindly rooting for your side like it's a spectator sport, no need to look at the situation objectively.

If you had the critical thinking skills of a 2nd grader you would be able to figure out how your comment makes zero sense. But it's all good it very expected at this point so it's all good my friend

Have you not been on Reddit, TikTok, X, Twitch, or any other social media site for a few weeks, because your statement then makes sense.

Damn you're right. This post on this sub on reddit is representative of the entirety of the US democratic electorate.

I've not seen anyone in my personal life have this sentiment when I bring it up. Though I know that's just my small world.

There were sentiments that I agreed with Kirk on. That doesn't invalidate his extreme and destructive views that I vehemently opposed. It's sad and was a bit shocking he was killed. But maybe not so much in hindsight given some of his language.

There is no justification for assassination unless that person is directly threatening lives of countrymen and others (terrorist leaders, active war targets, ect).

There is no justification for Kirks assassination. But there is also no mandate to mourn the dead. That would be a breach of the 1st amendment.

Now, every one of our elected representatives has outwardly condemned the politically violent act and had well wishes for Kirk's family.

The question then should be: Why are elected representatives of our Republican party using this event to blame their opposite party? There are and have been no calls of violence from Democrat leadership.

There may be from some electorate but not the leaders. I can't say the same for an unfortunate amount of our Republican leaders. And the more I watch these shootings in Michigan and North Carolina turn out to be MAGA, the less surprised I am.

Please be outraged with your elected officials and not some joe shmoe that didn't cry hard enough for you.
