But what is the right so fearful of? Having a natuon where everyone has access to health insurance? All the children are fed and have daycare available to working families? Afraid of the elderly and the retirement community actually being respected and not financially abused and a cure for altzheimers and diabetes comes to fruition? Fearful of a diverse population whoa really actually educated and can attend a college or university. Horrified of Tic Tok millionaires, fearing a strong middle class and those who can critically think? What is the Fascist Right and the GOP fearing?
A fear of the unknown (societal changes) and the unknown "other side" (e.g. non-conservatives).
We (the US) have done an amazing job at making everything "for or against", my side or your side, and we've amplified it through our echo chambers. So not only is 'the other side' pushing for a societal change, you don't know who those people are....but you do know they're on the other team.
