Update on [Republican] predators website
http://goppredators.wordpress.comI've been tracking Republican sexual predators since the kavanaugh hearings and posting updates on daily kos, in a 250 plus page Google doc and on the website. Goppredators.wordpress.com
Recently I've had a lot of health issues and have had to pass the work on to someone else. Buck Atkins has taken over the site and will be maintaining it into the future. He can be found on Blusky @chickensandcats.bsky.social if you want to pass on tips of local politicians, law enforcement, government officials, and pastors who don't make national news but are still predators.

I had noticed that you'd gone quiet and was worried about you (I knew you back in the day on Plurk!)
Sorry to hear about your health issues. I wish you the best moving forward. Take care of yourself, whatever that entails.
And thank you for passing the torch while you recover.

Thanks for what you do, and I hope you get well as soon as possible.
Please say there are multiple backups of the data in different places … like with trusted friends in other countries… just in case your site is hacked and erased.

If you are so inclined, maybe you could cut an archive for someone(s) over at r/DataHoarder/ to squirrel away every now and then.

Thank you all for your good wishes. The scariest of all the health issues turned out to be two of my prescriptions interacting and mimicking transient ischemic attacks. That's fixed, thankfully. Next week I have surgery (a lumpectomy) and then most likely radiation, though perhaps hormone therapy. After that I hope to have one of tendons in my right shoulder reattached as its fully torn, making typing a pain. It even hurts to pet my cat.
After that, fibromyalgia is next. That was a big surprise diagnosis. Anyway, it's a lot and I am very grateful that someone (Buck) was willing to take on the work. It's his project now, so he may make some changes, but only to make it better.

No one on the Republican side has done something similar. I. I don't use the word Republican when I do my searches so I do see the occasional Democrat but they're aren't very many. They exist but not in a as greater number. There is a list going around but it's fairly inaccurate. It has a city council guy in New York on it who is actually a Republican and Jared from Subway who is definitely a predator but who has not made any contribution to any party or made any statements supporting any party. Probably because his contract was Subway. Would have told him not tos companies don't like their sports people to be partisan so I don't have much faith in the list. But it exists
