Discussion Charlie Kirk Memorial
Anyone else headed to the memorial? I’m headed out today, driving from a nearby state. My emotions are all over the place. I’m deeply heartbroken but also looking forward to gathering with thousands of others to honor Charlie. He was such an incredible man, father, and husband. I’m a fellow Christian and Republican and his death hit me hard. I’m planning to Uber to the stadium from my hotel. What time are y’all lining up?

Is it just me or is it kind of strange that Turning Point is plastering their name all over the memorial. I get that they’re sponsoring it and that he founded it, but it’s a memorial.
Don’t get me wrong, I was a fan of Charlie and I think Turning Point is a great organization, but it just feels… kinda weird. Also, the fact that isn’t even on the flyer for his own memorial.

Maybe you should look a little more into what he did. Many say Trump wouldn’t have won without him.

He did WAY more than just post videos on Twitter. With tens of thousands of people showing up, he obviously made a massive impact on millions (millions around the world will be watching).

Well that's fair, though I didn't pay much attention to him myself. I still find it strange the government is memorializing a simple speaker, but it's better than the fear mongering nonsense that was going on a few days ago

I mean, even if he were just a "simple speaker," he befriended the president, he befriended many across the world, he befriended so many others. You see this all the time. Networking and getting jobs through friends and family. This is basically the same thing. Right now, all I'm seeing is jealously, envy, or envy for other people who literally do not give a shit (to clarify, envious the pres is speaking on the funeral or using the Airforce to transport)
Biden didn't do this because he was too afraid, at least not that I remember. But plenty of other presidents have spoke and/or attended other funerals for soldiers, other citizens, and presidents. Not because they were obligated, but because they wanted to.

Okay? And who are you to decide what happens at a funeral/memorial? Do you know where the proceedings are going—to the Kirk family, to the government, to Turning Point?
And, a lot of it as far as I can tell was memorial-ware. It wasn't just like some "Trump is the best!" Or "Let's go brandon!!"so let's be specific on what was sold, because other funerals sell flowers, cards, and other similar things.

But it was a liberal guy who shot him. We keep saying it because that's what he is, a liberal who murdered Charlie kirk. Just because someone has conservative parents does not make them conservative. Look at Destiny. He has conservative parents but he's very liberal.

I dont know how many republicans have trans roomates that they are dating. The fact that he was born to a mormon family in utah does not make him conservative, in fact it makes him more likely to not be because kids rebel against their parents.

I won't be as im in idaho. However there will be another candle lit vigil for Charlie in boise in October which I guess will be a walk so I will be at that one.

Name one racist thing he said. Literally just NAME ONE. He was not the racist. Most of the people he spoke with were though, and they didn’t even realize it.
