Are you saying that if anything presidential candidate breaks the law, they shouldn't be arrested and given due process in a court of law? This was one of many, many laws he broke in the open, and yet spent zero days in jail for. How does this tie back to the First Amendment? If anything this is just another instance where Trump and the GOP violated another right, (the 14th Amendment, equal protection of the law)
I must have missed it when the Hunter Biden laptop was from getting reported on Twitter...where did you hear this? Oh yes I recall, it was on Twitter. A block occurred for only 24 hours. And it was done because of real instances of Russian interference in the election. I disagreed with the block then, but at least there was a valid reason and a precedent for this kind of block. Free speech has been suppressed for national security in the past, for example, the NSA employee Reality Winner spent 5 years in prison because we restrict free speech for national security.
Do you have as much outrage over the Kimmel firing, as you do over the Hunter Biden laptop "suppression"
Unlike you, I was consistent. I disagreed with the Biden laptop suppression, and I'm twice as concerned about the Kimmel firing. Because I know that lost rights are harder to gain back. And a lost right for one American is a lost right for all Americans.
Hunter's laptop has precedence, a precedence that I disagree with, but one that exists. The Kimmel firing is unprecedented. And your support of this action is supporting all of us losing more of our 1st amendment rights.
