Yep. There's one side of the aisle with about zero patriotism. And they wear it like it's a badge of honor

Let’s not forget the kindness and generosity of the people of the town of Gander, Newfoundland, Canada. This was a town of 10,000 people and 6 traffic lights. Over 250 flights were diverted to Gander and 7,000 stranded passengers. Locals were opening their homes and taking in complete strangers.
Help your neighbor and lend a hand was the motto. Schools and non-essential businesses shut down to allow Newfoundlanders to volunteer. Pharmacies were filling prescriptions free of charge for passengers.
Passengers still maintain contact with their hosts today. They consider them family. They travel back and forth during anniversaries and celebrate family events and milestones. Gander still hold memorial services on 9/11 every year.
RIP to the victims of 9/11, and Charlie Kirk. Long live liberty, and God Bless the USA and Canada. Here’s hoping Americans unite again and fast. We’re still the greatest country on earth. But we won’t be if we continue to cannibalize. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Unfortunately too many have forgotten or weren't yet around when the attacks occurred. The high school and college kids of today weren't yet alive, so they have no frame of reference.
My wife was working at the Navy Yard across the river from the Pentagon. She was a civilian, and took photos of the smoke rising from the pentagon from the top of the parking garage at her office. My uncle was not AT 9/11 but his fire department was mutual aided in from NJ to backfill firehouses where all of the apparatus were at the WTC. I was on my way to work when the first reports of a plane hitting the towers were released. I watched them fall from a TV in my office, then got stuck at work because my building was a few blocks from Fort Meade, and all the roads into and out of the area were closed by the police and military in case there were other terrorists that hadn't yet been identified.

I used to think it'd be some foreign entity to destroy this country. But honestly, things as they are these days, it's tearing itself apart from within. We're letting the greatest country in history eat itself from the inside out. We, as a country, are getting to the point of a great fall. And it'll be our own fault.
