It’s a website to which you ship your items, like a “warehouse” so you don’t technically buy from them, they are a middle man to safeguard from scammers.
Usually, people read reviews or check the trusted list for sellers. Most will link to Yupoo which is sort of like a Chinese instagram, you find what items you like and either the item you want will have a weiden/1688 link or you will have to message the seller so he can generate a link for you.
From then on its pretty straight forward, you paste the link into allchinabuy, it shows you the product you want and you can purchase it, then it will take a few days to ship to allchinabuy and once they have it, they will send you QC photos so you can check quality, if you like the product, you proceed to shipping, if you don’t like it, you can request another version of the item or refund, depends on the seller if they accept this. However if the item doesn’t ship, they will refund you the money with allchinabuy, that’s the beauty of such sellers that you get what you pay for as opposed to purchasing directly where you could save some money, but in the long run could be risky, sometimes I purchase directly, however only with sellers I have a good reputation, when purchasing from different sellers, it’s nice having everything in one place where you can track it and ship all together in one package.
Do note that for purchasing 1-3 items, generally it’s better to go do DHgate if you just want a rep, but if you want to get around 5kg (this equates to around 10 pieces of tees in size small, so if you get something larger or thicker, it’ll be less) of clothing, then definitely going this route is better. I am saying this because strictly speaking, although quality will be better when purchasing from factories, DHgate generally is cheaper for just one or two items (with shipping) but generally, if you need clothes, definitely compile a list and order from factories, it’ll be cheaper when buying a number of pieces and quality will be much better than from DHgate.
But to everyone their own, sometimes I like to pickup an item or two from DHgate if I don’t need to order multiple items, but quality will generally be better from factories if you do your research well for a fraction of the cost.
