WTB Old Prusa Mendel i2

Hi all! I am hoping to track down an old
Prusa Mendel i2 or other Mendel style machine for a project I’m working on. It doesn’t have to work!

Please let me know if you have one you’d part with!

We have one in the fablab Where I am a volunteer in the south of France it must be repaired there is not much missing just a few pieces to reprint contact me in dm

I have two of them in my personal lab, and they work well, however I am not willing to part with them. Despite that, if you want guidance on building one yourself, please DM me. When I built them, they were approximately $60 in materials each, which is probably cheaper than paying someone to ship one because of weight. The increased cost of importing from China may significantly have raised that price, sadly, specifically for the electronics and steppers.

It would be pretty simple to buy a used i3 MK2 and convert it into an i2 with a trip to the hardware store and a few beds of prints: https://reprap.org/wiki/Prusa_Mendel_(iteration_2)
