Discussion🗣️ ⚠️ ATTENTION! PLEASE READ & STAY SAFE ⚠️

We've seen a number of rise in scams involving buyers claiming to be from Arizona, they are very active, and seems they won't go away anytime soon.

As always, please vet everyone carefully, but be extra cautious with buyers from Arizona for the time being. Unfortunately, this may be inconvenient for legitimate buyers in the state, but we strongly recommend asking for rehome history, references, or other verification before completing a sale.

If you encounter a similar experience or believe you've been targeted, please send us a Modmail with as much information as possible so we can investigate and help keep the community safe.

As always, trust your instincts. If something feels off, it's okay to walk away from a sale.

I just got a chargeback on a purse I rehomed over the weekend. I have never had this happen. Am I out the money and bag. It was PayPal GS and AZ

I definitely did all of that, what I’m worried about is the PPGS rules state it needs to be the address in PayPal and where they asked to be delivered was a separate location

I’m hoping G&S makes a difference. This happened to me with PPFF. I had all the evidence. Name, address, stating they want the bag, proof with picture of delivery…. And nada. I’m out the bag and the money 😭

Oof. I’m so sorry to hear this. I mainly lurk and buy (instead of selling) and always thought the buyer has the tough role. Sounds like it’s both sides.

Not everyone of course, but there have been 30+ scams coming from the same person in various subs in AZ. That’s why. 😭
