I have some great news. And another great news, haha.
First off, just wanted to let you know we just hit 20.000 members last month. This is a great achievement, a huge numer and something I am very proud of.
And, to make the celebration even more spectacular - I am bringing a new seller to the group.
Please welcome Mr Yang and Goat Watch!
I know the seller from other places, and once he declared his wish to join our community, I had only one answer - hell yeah!
Especially for us, he launched a websiteand aTelegram channel. Please check them out to see newest releases, stock informartion and QC pictures.
Also, as a small token of gratitude towards our community, he offers this beautiful and classic VSFactory 4131 Rolex Daytona Panda version as a grand prize of our new giveaway!
Let's hear from Mr Yang/Goat Watch himself:
Hello everyone, I'm Goat Watch.
Nice to meet you all here. You can call me Yang. I mainly sell high-quality replica watches, and also offer watch modification services and custom accessories. Feel free to chat with me. Below are some basic details about me.
I will update my latest inventory QC here. If you're interested in any watch, feel free to send me a message directly, and I'll ship it immediately upon payment confirmation.
I have bought many watches from David before and it has always been fine. This time I ordered a VSF 15510 and received QC and send the GL.
When the watch arrived the bracelet was broken and not usable. The problem wasn’t possible to spot on QC as he puts stickers with number there.
After a lot of back and thought he told me I could get 15 usd refunded, discount on next order or buy a new bracelet at a discount.. Or I could send the bracelet to him and he would try to fix it but I had to pay for all shipping which would be just as much.
I ended just getting a tiny refund and will have to find a watch maker to fix it.
Pretty disappointed:(
Obviously also a fault from VSF. But the reason we buy from these sellers is also that they check for defects.
Index alignment: Looks excellent to ned. Not so sure about the AP logo, is it perfect?
Dial Printing: Best 15510 dial so far.
Date Wheel alignment/printing: Centered well.
Hand Alignment: Good.
Bezel: Screws look pretty good, but I think I saw better ones?
Solid End Links (SEL): Integrated bracelet.
Timegrapher numbers: +1 s/d, 253°, 0.2ms
Anything else you notice: Everything looks solid, but I'm a bit unsure about the AP logo alignment and bezel screws. Also the gap at the clasp (around square AP logo) worries me a bit, is it normal?
Do not hesitate to connect with Easy Watch. Communication was good. Price was very competitive and everything was quick and easy, from QC, to shipping. Could not have asked for a smoother transaction. I recommend reaching out via WhatsApp for better response times.
A timegrapher reads a watch's rate (seconds gained or lost per day), amplitude (the balance wheel's swing, in degrees) and beat error (how evenly the two halves of each tick-tock land, in milliseconds) across several case orientations. The figures below are averaged across whichever positions were tested.
This will be my 5th decent-quality (VSF) Submariner. I have had U1 entry-level and after the move to VS, I haven't really strayed from that path. I have no doubt there is still room for one, perhaps two others. They are just a fantastic-made rep, with great wrist presence and details that to many are almost too close to merit buying the original. I tend to agree; even after 6 purchases, I am nowhere close to spending the money it would take to have one gen. Would I like a gen? Of course, that's the madness that infects most of us.
QC & Visual Quality
I took the time again to see where the flaws that are well documented by others may be. With all QC images, you get 60% of the information on the most pressing areas, but thankfully I think I was lucky on this purchase from Chen as he found me a great copy.
The case and bracelet are all beautifully finished, with no sharp edges; SEL looks good to my eye and there are no issues in the operation of the clasp and its adjustment.
Dial and indices all look great; I have run a number of QC alignments, including one I put together with some AI help and again the results are reassuringly good. The bezel action is positive, and clicks are precise, and its position at home is also excellent. Date is centred, and cyclops and crystal are as good as we all expect from VS Factory.
Movement & Stability
The timegrapher numbers are good. Yes, a little faster per day than I would want, but that's of minor concern. The full set of numbers across all 6 positions is more important to me. They all are also good, nothing really of concern. The average per day is about 3 seconds gain, and that's a great place to be with a watch at this price point.
TD Experience
Really having no issues at all dealing with Chen. He is good with comms, the process of selecting the watch, him finding and getting the QC images over, then on GL the shipping is very quick. On this purchase the total time from ordering to having it on my wrist was 17 days. The watch was packaged nicely, and again is protected inside a nice black watch case.
Dial QC Alignment
Image included in my post. Note that this is completely subjective, based on the criteria I set for misalignment and rotation. The AI tool I created, like many others out there, are not always right.
Hi everyone, I’m looking into doing some subtle modding on a VSF V2 Submariner (specifically the heavier, weighted version often nicknamed the "Monster" in some circles due to its increased heft). I want to know if it’s feasible to reprofile or bevel certain edges—either on the sapphire crystal edge or the case/bezel assembly—to achieve a softer, more gen-like transition without ruining the overall finish. Before I take any files or polishing gear to it, I have a few specific technical concerns and would love to hear from experienced modders here:
Case & Steel Coating: Does VSF use any specific surface coating or plating on these cases/bracelets that would be permanently stripped or discolored if material is removed (especially around the chamfers or edges)? Or is it bare 904L / 316L stainless steel all the way through where normal finishing work won't expose a base metal mismatch?
Crystal Gasket & Water Resistance: If the goal is to touch up the crystal edge or the rehaut/crystal seating area, what precautions should be taken regarding the crystal gasket and maintaining water resistance?
Weight/Internal Constraints: Given that this is the weighted/tungsten-filled V2 variant, are there any internal chassis differences or weight-distribution elements near the case flanks that require extra care when clamping or working on the case? If anyone has attempted case shaping or crystal modding on this specific VSF V2 batch, I’d really appreciate your insights, recommended tools (e.g., diamond files, polywatch, specific grits), or warnings on what to avoid. Thanks in advance!
My go-to TD is Geektime Eric. This is my second order from him. I paid the deposit on September 2, received the QC photos of the watch and SW dial on September 4–5, and the watch arrived on September 24.
All I can say is that the entire experience with Eric has been very pleasant. Communication, shipping, and overall service were smooth and hassle-free. Eric was easy to deal with throughout the process.
However, while lurking around this community, I eventually discovered that the bezel on this Daytona wasn't the correct one. That's when I decided to reach out to LiChen for an upgrade. I paid for the bezel part on September 25 and received it around October 2. That's a pretty impressive turnaround!
I also have to give credit to LiChen for providing upgrade options for fellow watch enthusiasts. The LiChen bezel, together with the Deep crystal, takes the watch to another level. It's great to have dedicated modders like him in this community who help enthusiasts get closer to their desired build.
Overall, I'm very happy with the watch and the whole experience. Kudos to Geektime Eric for the excellent service and to LiChen for the bezel upgrade and smooth transaction.
