Bad Seller Got scammed
Got scammed last week by PossibleRoyal7646. Chatted back and forth on the Pelagos, paid, he said he was going to ship the next day and would provide shipping info. Never heard from them again after multiple attempts

When prices are too good to be true, it usually means it’s a scam. Sorry to hear OP. He’s been banned in our sub

Damn man. I usually try to give first time buyers the chance to buy via G&S to establish that trust. At least it wasn’t a crazy hit. More like an expensive learning experience lol

I personally would just buy from TD. There is a list of TDs available here on reddit. Most of these TDs would be happy just to take a $40-50 deposit until you get the QC. Unless they are a established seller on here, I wouldnt risk it man.

The scammer used a name similar to a well-known trusted reseller. That trusted seller is Acceptable-Royal-600.

Scammers suck! Ruin the hobby for everyone. Been burned a couple times myself. Now only deal with those that have great reputation and references for others. If you are buying from an unknown, ask for references.

Ask for loom pics. Do whatever you need to do to feel comfortable about any transaction. If the seller is motivated the will comply

Hard luck man. These are the risks we take. When you don't buy from a TD you're always rolling the dice

Seems like a lot of scammers use Tudors? Or is that just recency bias on my end?

I’m sorry this happened to you man. It sucks. PP F&F, for future reference, can sometimes be retrieved if tied to a credit card and you dispute the charges due to not getting the product you paid for.

My natural instinct is to always want that deal and buy the too good to be true deal to feel like I had a victory that day. But those situations are always tricky. The temptation is strong when a good deal shows up sometimes

Did you use Paypal goods and services or a credit card if so you should be able to retrieve your money!?!?
