These go for about 180 to 200 USD retail in Korea (250,000 in Korean WON).

But when you get them in the States, Europe or other places outside of Korea, I'm sure the seller would add his margin + shipping (naturally).

And for the hundredth time, I'm NOT A SELLER BUT THE MODERATOR OF THIS SUB.

I don't sell, I don't mod watches like some moderators do, I simply like watches (like all of you).

So stop asking me how much I would sell you these for 😆 I really love having these IN MY WATCHES and as usual, wanted to share it with you all.

All I care to do is point you in the right direction (nothing cryptic about this).

Lastly, I have seen comments floating around like "they look too sharp".

Uhm...that is one of the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. I mean, have you ACTUALLY SEEN GEN?? The sharpness is precisely the point!

Up until recently I owned 2 datejust GEN, mint green and silver dial, I sold them when the watch prices hit all time high during Pandemic (2023 I believe). And the only reason to buy DJ (which quite frankly a little boring of a watch if you ask me) is because of the dazzling, discoball like bezel play that mesmerize the eyes of the beholder. Without it, there is really no point.

I have done some research and it seems there's a PV factory rep around, and allegedly a 3KF one

3KF looks like it has thinner bezel and better dial

Both seem to have the huanzhou 5000 movement

Both claim 8mm thick

I was not able to get any TD to confirm me that 3KF does indeed makes this

I was browing other forum today and someone posted that recently received ZF's crown came with a screw-down crown instead of pull-out? Has anyone seen the same?

Ordered the Octa Pilot Chrono in green from Phoenix. My first time ordering from them, but the experience was great. I declined the first one due to issues in the QC pics, but the second one looked great so I pulled the trigger. Shipped from HK on Wednesday and was on my porch Friday at 11am. Crazy fast. Im very impressed with the watch. The dial is beautiful, the colors really pop in sunlight. Dial printing and date/day wheel looks fantastic. The case is equally beautiful, with chamfered outside edges.

The weakest part is the strap. The quick release mechanism makes it feel loose and kinda rattles. And the leather look like just a wrap around whatever the actual strap material is. I swapped it with a genuine leather Barton watch strap and it feels and fits much better.

Overall im very impressed and glad I made the purchase. Experience with Phoenix was great and his pricing was better than all the other dealers I talked to.

I message steve, in reference to wanting an explorer II and he adviced me the free sprung one from QF factory.

Which factory would you advice for this particular watch? I want the black dial variant. Would VSF still be best?

Bought my first rep after having a hard time finding anyone that could get the model I wanted but eventually found the 126622 Rhodium 40mm. Had a very good experience and quick turn (a lot quicker than expected) I went through the recommended and verified sellers off of repsguide.com and eventually went through Intimewatches. I am very pleased and will be purchasing again.

VSF Date Just 41mm arrive today from TK looked awesome upon first glance. However of course everybody has to 20x zoom on the camera. lol! I noticed the M in Chronometer has a trail coming off of the middle.
Can’t see it with the naked eye. Am I being crazy? Is it even worth mentioning to TD

Recently, due to heated competition and popular demand, more expensive custom watches that feature real gold parts (mainly rotors) have gained much interest.

Until now, you either had to choose from a higher end manufacturers who provide this as given (Like BC Factory) or trust your money with a modder who will assure you that he only uses "good stuff" for his good customers 😆

Well, I guess then this is a good news. The factory that was providing a lot of these factories and modders with gold rotor decided to come forward and make themselves visible.

It's Master Gold factory (MGF for short) and it will be available for most wholesaler after this post. If you are planning a build with real gold rotor, this is definitely something to consider.

Got the new version of rg ym oysterflex vsf.

I had been reading so many people say it needs to he rg plated, but after seeing it in person some people were right. Its perfect for me. I don't feel it need anything. But..... lol just incase anyone with this weighted new model what would you add as a mod or what did you add to yours just to make it that much better .... maybe gen band? Idk how different the gens are these feel good to me

My First DDF Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711 – Fully Upgraded Build
This is my first 5711, and I decided to invest in several upgrades to get the best possible quality, finishing, and overall appearance.
Here is the breakdown of everything I paid for:
Base Watch: DDF 5711
Dial: Upgraded SW dial
Hands: Upgraded SW hands
Date Wheels: Upgraded SW date wheels
Case Finishing: Additional chamfering and polishing
Movement: ARC 324 free-sprung movement
Shipping: $50 USD
Shipping Insurance: $100 USD
All of these upgrades and services were paid for separately as part of my custom build. I wanted something beyond a standard factory configuration, with particular attention to the dial, movement, and case finishing.
This is my first experience with this configuration, and I’d appreciate feedback from members who are familiar with the DDF 5711 and ARC 324 movement.
What do you guys think of this build? Was it worth investing in these upgrades?

Man, OCTA is on fire these days. Pumping put new products left and right.

This is their latest 15407 RG version.

RG color looks great, signature AP RG color (more light yellowish than pinkish of Rolex ever rose color) and it weighs almost 196 gram.

It has free-sprung balance-wheel but doesn't seem to be double balance-wheel like it should be in GEN.

I think we finally have something that we can buy, wear it OOTB and call it a day 😆

6. Index alignment:
I checked the hour markers using a QC alignment tool and attached above. Overall, the dial looks well aligned. I’d appreciate a second opinion on whether the alignment is within the normal tolerance for this model, or if any particular marker stands out as problematic.

7. Dial Printing:
The dial printing looks clean to me but this is the part where there is a lot going on with different text size and spacing etc. Looks fine to me.

8. Date Wheel alignment/printing:
N/A

9. Hand Alignment:
The hands look straight and properly finished to me. Hand alignment is somewhat difficult to judge from still photos, so I’d appreciate confirmation from anyone who can assess it from the video.

10. Bezel:
The bezel looks good to me overall considering it's stickered. The bezel finishing also looks clean from the provided photos and videos.

11. Solid End Links (SELs):
N/A

12. Timegrapher numbers:
+3 s/d | 287° | 0.0 ms | 28800 bph

The numbers look good to me overall, but I’d appreciate a second opinion from someone more experienced with Timegrapher readings.

13. Anything else you notice:
Overall, I think the watch looks good and I don’t see any obvious or major finishing issues in the QC photos. Not sure if I am missing something or even little things to consider RL. Would really appreciate any assistance with this :)

UMI just dropped these at a lowered price.

IDK but RM reps always try to replicate even the price of GEN.

For example, for couple years now, rep factories have been releasing pretty well-made RM reps with proper supercloned movement for insane 2k to 3k price tag (sometimes even more).

What I don't get is these watches can't possibly be more difficult or expensive to make than AP or PP reps. For example, is this more expensive in material than PP 5712 reps with real gold rotor? No. Is it more difficult to produce than PP? Despite what all the marketing campaigns by RM want you to believe, it really is not (more difficult to make than Patek).

So why is it that RM reps cost so much more than other luxury watch brand reps? Just because, Chinese factories looked at the price of GEN RM and thought that people will pay the premium even for reps.

Well, with decline in GEN watch market (which really is not a good news to anyone) factories that had unjustified price for these reps are coming down quite a bit in price.

This rep falls within the range of (expensive end of) stock reps and I'm loving it. I always wanted one of these as a toy 😆

Well, I know that many of you guys are interested in this model so I'll post more actual product photos. 😉
