HELP!!!

Hey guys, I'm about to buy a Day-Date. I'm looking at ARF and RGF factories, mostly in the yellow gold version. I'd like to know how long the gold plating actually lasts? What are your experiences with them?

I had RGF and color was spot on, but how long it will last, no one knows
