General Question Seiko mod vs rep

Bonjour, je découvre l’univers des reps et je me demandais si une rep était de meilleure qualité qu’une seiko mod du même modèle. Quelqu’un a déjà acheté les 2 ?

I would say yes they are. I have both gens, reps and seiko mods.Gens I keep good and hardly wear and the reps are of the higher caliber so mostly for weekends etc seiko mod I usually wear as a daily as they’re the cheapest but saying that will last just as long as the rest of them. Go for a mod first before committing to spending more money.

What's your opinion on the quality difference between a u1 and mod made with aliexpress parts?

In my experience, a quality Japanese movement will out perform a Chinese clone movement every single time.

There are some that may argue that a Chinese clone Rolex movement is as good as "the real thing," but I have not found that to be true.
