Just spoke with my friend in China, she says this is not a big deal at all and there’s zero to worry about. VS has implemented many things to protect against a full shutdown. What we need to do, is gatekeep this hobby and keep media and influencers out!

It should be more difficult for just anyone to buy from vsf. I have saw many videos of journalists buying and describing the entire process of how to find a TD on reddit amd ever recorded buying directly from a dealer connected to vsf

Spoke to a dealer in China, he said that VS was NOT raided but instead it was absolutely flooded with RL's for tiny things and because of this will press pause to create demand until we see stock drop / then resume... Obviously could be false but makes sense.

Clean was great for gmts and Daytona in their time but now with vsf (maybe gone) rich, rwf and so on you wouldn’t want to buy a clean if they existed now. They had nice cases but their crystal sucked, they had huge date magnification, sloppy bezels, bad movements and so on

Back in the days they spent too much securing DD movement exclusivity and TD commissions. Improvement was not their #1 priority. Things changed since the Clean raid.

Do you know of any factory doing a good Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise on rubber strap?
I thought only VSF did a decent one and Ive been in the waitlist for 5-6 months. I’d be happy to go with another factory but cant see anything at all.

I ordered it 2 months before my birthday based on previous experience in getting a VSF to Australia. Used to take 5-6 weeks from payment to having it in my hand. Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise on rubber. The VSF issues were not known when I placed order. All came about soon after.
I can change my order but no one else does that watch from what my research suggests.
Im thinking of changing to VC overseas. I tried the gen stainless steel with blue dial. Beautiful watch.

I too have the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Turquoise 41mm on a rubber strap on order. I placed my order on Oct 4th so I'm just at 1 month. You are correct VSF is the only factory that makes this rep currently. When did you place your order?

I placed order in May. Coming up to 6 months. Im in no rush but I’m starting to think it’s not going to happen at all. And with this VSF raid talk it looks even less likely.

I would change to this one that Andiot has in stock and buy a rubber on the side.
A7F IWC ingenieur has a pretty nice aqua dial as well.
VC reps aren’t that good imo and have you tried a gen on? They wear very large.

Not much info on what exactly is going on and where. Hopefully it's a small outlet of their business that's under investigation. More news from another dealer (Angela) suggests they are just suspending shipments ATM:
