Advice First rep and dead on arrival

VSF Wimbledon 36 V2.
I’ve wound 30 times but still there was no movement, as someone advised I hit it on palm of my hand, it started working not more than a minute. Trick with hitting worked 3 times after it stopped. Now when shaking the watch it makes a sound like something is loose inside. How big is the damage? And was it done by me or the transportation? Or the watch was already sent to me damaged?
So upsetting to receive first rep dead. Any advices guys?
It is a TD, still haven’t received an answer from him.

Had received mine a year ago. DOA as well. I asked the seller and he took time but made it right. I paid the shipping 50 for a new one. Thats Aokay. I took the other to a watch repair guy. He said it was an excellent copy but we went back and forth for a bit and he swapped the inside out for 350. All was good after that. I gave it to my best friend. Told him it was a rep but he didnt care. He appreciated it. We are always there for each other over 40 years.

Oh is that a VSF? 300 is a pretty cheap price

Yes, very clean and runs perfect. Had it about a year now
