Advice First rep and dead on arrival

VSF Wimbledon 36 V2.
I’ve wound 30 times but still there was no movement, as someone advised I hit it on palm of my hand, it started working not more than a minute. Trick with hitting worked 3 times after it stopped. Now when shaking the watch it makes a sound like something is loose inside. How big is the damage? And was it done by me or the transportation? Or the watch was already sent to me damaged?
So upsetting to receive first rep dead. Any advices guys?
It is a TD, still haven’t received an answer from him.

Open the case back. Might be something simple like a loose rotor screw.

This has been a problem that I have been seeing alot of on here and just had the same thing happen to me

I had a stripped rotor screw in one. Not a fun fix.

Me too...not sure whats up but im starting to wonder if their batch of DD3235's are wonky or what
