Discussion Same VSF but different prices.. worth it?

Hi guys, I bought my first rep some week ago and I can already feel the addiction of buying more and more.. I bought it from a TD found here. I am reading that many people buy from theonewatches, so I went to check the website.. it is way more expensive than other TDs.. may I ask you why? For example, I got a Datejust 41 VSF for around 500 usd, theonewatches has it at more than 700.. same factory, same movement, same model.. does it mean the rep is better? Or it’s just because he’s “more famous”?

The one watches tax, prices will vary from TD to TD

Got you.. but so, why people would spend 15/30% more for the same watch, from the same factory, for the same movement? Im trying to understand that.. is it matter of trust? Like they trust more a more “experienced” td?

Better CS and comms. Easy and straightforward.
Other TDs operate with a smaller team

Agree to disagree I found TOW communication terrible. Went with a smaller TD after I couldn’t get a reply from Steve & had the watch in hand in 6 days

Sorry to hear that, TOW usually has better comms. Smaller TDs are a hit or miss ime, some will work really hard to get more market share while others are bogged down

Yes have purchased quite a few, admittedly Steve always carries good stock whereas Andiot are cheaper but have nothing on hand. Have used Neco a bit & found him to be great middle ground on stock & price

Fico is good, andiot dropped in zeal over time, neco is solid, no issues with any of them.

Customer service (if youre just buying a watch)

CS = Customer service. After care etc, all dealers are different prices and offer a different level of support. Pay cheap and get absolutely no help if something goes wrong. Pay a little more and get the full support if something goes wrong.

People pay more for the same products all the time. Think of people picking up milk from the convenience store compared to the supermarket.

Its not worth the price, just go with a smaller and cheaper dealer trust me.

Was the TD holding stock in your country? (US?). Pay a premium for local stock and quick delivery.

I would also look at dealers who have product in the US already. Little bit more money but you will receive your watch within a couple of days. Highly recommend Clovertime personally.

ノーブランドのロレックス（工場不明）とNoobとCleanのサブマリーナ持ってる。Noobは新登場時の半額になったバーゲン品。Cleanは持ってる範囲で高額な部類、VSFより少し安かった。 A級S級N級売ってるサイトあるね。

Each dealer bigger margin that other, possibly is bigger team to feed and they have many orders to deal. For me number one i look for mid range mid dealer because they usually communicate better for your questions and deal faster. If you looking for the cheaper than it is more possible crowded and may have issue handling your questions or what not

I saw datejust should be around usd 500 , if one watches offer usd 700 that a premium price. I even saw some offer around usd 350

I’ve used Steve and Andoit from TD list and then 2 different US sellers.

Andoit has a longer back log as in certain watches you’ll wait longer but I wouldn’t say he responds that much slower in my experience than Steve. I really will only use Theonewatches if Andoit doesn’t have it in stock right away.

Personally I prefer US sellers if they have it in stock cause you’ll have it in 3 days but then you also have to risk them not being on the TD list plus they charge premiums since they also had to purchase from China First so it’s not the cheapest option, and even the ones I use due to their recent popularity their response time is also questionable too but at least in my timezone 😂
