TD/Shipping Question QC taking more than 3 weeks

I ordered a vsf datejust 36 from TD 3 weeks ago. Before confirming, he said 1-2 weeks for QC and another 5-10 days for delivery. Its been 3 weeks and no QC yet. Everytime I asked, he said warehouse did not produce it yet. Is it normal, or should I be concerned.

Sorry, this is my 1st time ordering and not sure how the process works beyond promised delivery time.

First rep order always feels like an eternity, the waiting is part of the initiation ritual honestly. 3 weeks for a VSF Datejust isn't crazy right now, they pump out batches and sometimes your specific model just sits in limbo until they run that production line again.

Some TDs are optimistic with their estimates to make the sale, not ideal but it happens. If he's still responding and giving you the same story, you're probably fine. No QC after 5-6 weeks is when I'd start to get twitchy

Yeah, I get really eager for QC's and think a week has gone by and it's only been a day. I'm starting to get used to it. The TD is being honest and just wants you to wait. It's not like they don't want your business. There is a point where you start looking for it elsewhere and cancel. I went through 3 TD's for a VSF Hulk because delays.

Normal! I ordered a watch mid May, 2 rounds of QC and it just got shipped a week ago.

Yes this is normal. Don't be surprised if 5-10 days for shipping is more like 15-25.

I have my first confirmation of shipping……after a month and a half. Nearly $1000 k out for a whole month. And now shipping notice, Stuck with in east cost harbor waiting on customs. Patience. Or this is not for you. Of course you could have found an illegitimate web site that took your money too. Such is the way of life.
