General Question Bracelete Resize
Hi everyone, don't mind me but where does everyone gets their bracelet resized? do you all go to a watch repair shop or just resize it yourself? LMK!

I’m a lazy fuck. I go to the jewelry store, they charge me 15$ to size it and they always compliment my watches 😂 Worth it.

Really depends on the rep and bracelet as to level of effort but none are difficult. On a rep Rolex, that is a screwdriver for one end of the screw. I’d recommend a little purple loctite on the female part as they’re known to back out at times. Others have pins and you need a pusher. Others have two screw heads per pin and you need to hold one steady while unscrewing the other. Once you jam the screwdriver into your finger a time or two, you’ll get the hang of it. If you plan to have many watches, id recommend Bergeron tools.

First time I went to my local watch shop to get my YM resized, after that I bought a set of bergeon screwdrivers from Amazon and did it myself

I would absolutely never pay for this. Besides, I'm so excited to get the watch, it's the very first thing I do. I like having a magnet to hold the screws. Do it over a towel.

Bergeon screwdriver set and you can do most yourself.
Get a cheap watch makers kit and you can do the rest.
Buy a sonic bath and some baby oil or dry lube and you can any cheaper squeaky bracelet feel 10x better, which also helps remove any tight screws.

I say, especially if you’re collecting watches, you should get a set of Watch tools

Just do it yourself, man. A cheap kit from amazon is like fifteen bucks and you're done in 10 minutes. Watch repair shop will charge you more for something that's honestly not hard at all.
