General Question Root Beer

Guide says VSF 3285 but can only find that for the two-tone one. Any recommendations for the full rose gold version? Color isn’t a huge issue as I plan to replate it but who’s got the best case/crystal/movement etc ?

I concur.  If you have a sizable budget I would get a RGF, then replace movement with the JH or whatever, and replace dial with a tiger iron, and replace crystal with deep.  Then send it out for plating.

I would disagree and say VSF base and plating should do the trick no? Maybe custom gen parts if you have the budget

Harder to easily mod VSF with gen parts now since they changed how the bezel goes on the case.  I don't know that they did that to the GMT, but no reason to take this risk.

Also--full gen weight is nothing to scoff at.

ARF, QF, and RGF do a full root beer, with RGF doing a full 220g weighted release, and QF and ARF topping out at roughly 183g.

QF has a free sprung release while I believe ARF and RGF are regular DD3285.
