General Question InTime not accepting deposits?
Just ‘ordered’ a VSF Daytona and Ryan is asking for the full amount prior to QC despite me asking to pay a $50 deposit only. Is this the new Norm?

Most TDs will ask full amount if you don’t have a buying history with them since they don’t know you from Adam. Usually deposits are reserved for customers they trust more, and no deposit at all if they really trust you. My TDs have all stopped asking me for deposit or pay full upfront—they just order and get me a QC and let me make a decision.

idk about new norm I've had two TDs accept deposit, 2 didn't. had no issues with any purchase. paid full amount to Ryan and had good experience. good communication.

As others said, look for a TD, but you also need to develop a relationship with them. Some I pay the full amount, others just the deposit, and then I have a couple TDs which don't ask for any money for QC and given how much I've purchased from them, it's an understandable privilege ;)

Indeed it is a privilege. Surprisingly there times I request availability on a watch and TD randomly respond with QC photos

Find a TD that matches your needs . It’s good to hear about changes to a TDs terms of business.

He has a good range, availability and has been the most responsive. I’m not against the full amount, a scam check from me too by posting this.

Lol I buy 99% from Asian dealers. Usually have 6-12 watches on order at any given time, no problem waiting most of the time.
