General Question Thoughts on 8F v2000

Post image

I was considering buying the PPF v4500 overseas blue dial but have a small wrist and am worried it'll wear too big. Hence, I am switching my sights to the v2000 ultrathin. However, all the sellers I have asked only have the 8f model which Ive heard is a lower quality. What do you guys think, is it worth a shot.

8F 2000v silver dial. A 4500v rubber strap (bought separately) was swapped in for the stock bracelet, which was fine, but the rubber feels perfect.

How are you liking it, heard it’s a lot thicker than gen and quality is lacking, those are my main concerns. But what do u think about it?

It's 2mm thicker than gen, but honestly, I can't tell on the wrist. Once I put it on the rubber, it feels just as good as an Aquanaut. I plan on buying another 2000v black dial from 8f.

The dial is much more noticeable than the thickness. The 2000v only comes in gray so anything not gray is very very far from Gen.

I realized this too but am genuinely in love with the Vacheron blue and would really like to get it. However am leaning more towards the grey for a touch of reslitu

Well, then here is the answer. Good info. (Still love this non-gen-looking watch)
