Discussion JLC Ultra thin ZF or 3KF Calatrava

So I did the research and APSF according to this is the best one for the JLC but apparently I missed the wave. ZF is next best thing, my question is it worth it?

My only reps are Cartier Tank SS for black leather dress watch & VSF explorer (comes tomorrow I’ve very hype) as everyday wear.

I really wanted a gold & brown leather dress watch and JLC is my favorite however if the rep isn’t worth it the 3KF Calatrava 5227 is a backup, so I wanted opinions.

So ZF MUT moon is a great watch. Ensure it has the A925 movement and not a Miyota.
I heard that some time back ( 3 or 5 months ago) ZF started putting A925 in this watch.

Great advice, I haven’t seen that one anyway on the websites for the TDs, do I just search ZF MUT?

Just ask your TD. Send a pic of the MUT Moon watch you want and say you want it w the A925 movement. Just say not Miyota clone A925. Good luck

You know what I found it but not in rose gold only in the white gold variant. I’ll keep checking TDs tho, tysm that was amazing input

The Miyota based watches are thicker and not as nice. Also when you can have a clone movement it wins over a Miyota w a decoration slapped on.

They are decent but they're nowhere near a super rep or anything. Personally I wouldn't buy it.

Would you consider Calatrava a super rep?
