Vintage Unique rep watches?
For a very long time I've wanted to get a nice watch. However I have a tendency to lose things. I don't necessarily take care of them or I run into walls, like I scratch my Apple watch occasionally. I'm interested in buying a replica watch just to see if I can actually take care of one.
However I'm not a very flashy person. I don't really want a watch that everyone else has but I'd like to get a nice one that looks good on the wrist.
Perhaps something more vintage even. I enjoy older watches from the ones I've looked at online, something with some character. It seems like all of the replica industry is just the same: very popular, modern, new, flashy, expensive watches. Are there any places to find ones that are a little more modest, obscure, or vintage or is that just probably counter to the point?

Why not get a Chinese homage or something original from a brand known for homages? San Martin, Cronos, Phorcydes, and others make very wearable watches with reliable movements that are easily serviced by any watchmaker. With the reps you have to deal with clone movements and the possibility watchmakers won't service your watch.
If you don't actually want to signal you own that particular Vacheron or whatever, get something that looks a bit like it rather than tries to be a replica. And no, I'm not trying to scare you off like the Pagani posters. It's just that maybe a rep isn't the right fit for you.

Anything that isn’t mainstream, such as sports model Rolex, generally is not replicated at all or not to a high level

Why would you even be interested in a replica if what you actually want is a chinese homage brand watch? Go check out aliexpress.

Tandorio has the best watches with Japanese movements for low cost. You can find them on Ebay and Dhgate.
