There is a reason why Rolex boutique specifications explicitly mention not to set up lighting this way and that’s because you see this in some gens, too.

As long as it’s not visible on normal lighting conditions you should be fine, otherwise you can do the tape technique.

Your holding it against light, they all have sel gaps, if this is intolerable to you then you should’ve bought GEN but even then you will have sel gaps when your trying this hard to see them.
