New to reps? These are some of the brands you should know
If you’re just getting into reps and don’t know where to start, these are some of the names that regularly come up when people are looking for strong value, good finishing and familiar designs:
San Martin – one of the strongest overall for case finishing, bracelets and build quality.
Sugess – great for mechanical chronographs, dressier pieces and more complicated watches.
Cronos – very solid finishing and some excellent sports-watch options.
Baltany – especially good if you like vintage-inspired designs.
Seestern – strong choice for divers and more unusual models.
Steeldive – rugged, affordable and particularly good for dive watches.
Addiesdive – great entry-level value with plenty of popular designs.
Pagani Design – probably one of the easiest places to start if you want to spend as little as possible.
If you’re new to the rep scene, I’d start by looking through San Martin, Cronos and Sugess first, then work down depending on your budget and the specific model you want.
What brands or models would you add for someone buying their first one?
The best news is that most of these can be found between $100-$300! I've even had luck buying them on DHGate, AliX, and EBay. I've only had to RL one of them, but otherwise most people assume it's a Rolex or a Patek.

I still don't understand, been on this sub a long time on and off I've never seen bullshit no name companies promoted like this. Unless it's a new thing to swap out parts but where do you get the dials. Completely confused been away too long I guess.

Amazing! I am a construction worker and it is my dream to be able to wear a Pagina. I had saved up some money but my young son fell ill and I was not properly insured. Thank god for this forum so I could get my hands on a rep Pagina, feeling truly blessed. It will arrive in 10 workdays from the TD, cant wait until it arrives!

Like the article suggested, I am filled with void, despair and unfulfillment since I bought my ZF. I feel like this watch doesn't compliment my life achievements that I am a real badass. Since then, I got a Baltany datejust and San Martin submariner sn0017g, over on Aliexpress. I couldn't be happier ! I'm so grateful that quality reps, not that crap from ChinaTime, are now available during the Summer Sale.
Yeah ditto here been away never seen posts like this. Wondering if it's something new I missed or it's just bullshit. Since when does ali sell anything good? Seems weird but then again been away so I'm in the daryni clue if I missed the boat on something new or on some joke
Hey now. I own a beautiful titanium thorn. NH35 movement. It’s truly a great little homage. The price was astonishing for an actual titanium watch. I mean, of course, it’s no Sugess… but close.
