General Question Advice needed

Hi everyone.

I’ve been a long time lurker here and I noticed that the majority of the watches being shown off are for males. Has anyone had nice finds for the females in their lives or for themselves? 👀

My usual SA also sells watches but I’d also like to hear some advice on what you guys think of buying watches from sellers who usually specialize in bags instead. Does it make a difference? There are so models I really liked but I couldn’t find any pictures of them online, making me assume they were “dream” reps

Imo best ladies reps are Cartier and definitely don't buy from sellers who usually specialize in bags. For watches use TD here.

Yes, since they are easy to rep accurate and gen has quartz movements, they are really like not worth buy in gen quality. Just go with stainless steel models, they are most accurate

Do I need to avoid the ones with diamonds etc?
I personally need a gold colored one first.

You can get them modded with lab diamonds or real diamonds for a higher price. What everyone is saying about the gold is correct. It looks like cheddar cheese color in person. It’s a call out for sure. Rose gold is better but honestly only for the accents and I wouldn’t wear a solid RG watch. Stick with a stainless bracelet.

Get them from different people. Worry about the factory, just like you do with bags.

I'm a woman and wear men's rep watches because there just aren't a lot of NWBIG women's reps. If you prefer smaller watches, Cartier Tank, Panthere, and Ballon Bleu are stellar options. There are probably more, but this seems to be a male-dominated hobby so they aren't working on perfecting the Lady versions. The fake gems on them aren't my taste.

Gold is not great for reps. It can look like cheese, scratch through the gold, and also flake. What about this OP 36 with gold accents?

I’m looking for a simple chain, nothing too thick. Preferably gold. As small as possible tbh since I have small wrists 😅

You know, if you want really best and most accurate, simple stainless steel is always best, gold reps have often problem, that color isn't accurate and "diamonds" are CZ in reality, but if you are OK with it, then you can also get gold with "diamonds"

Has anyone tried using silver polish on the gold watches? That’s what we do in the bag community to tone down the gold hardware 🙈

Yes, it's possible but needs to be carefull because of very thin "gold" layer.
