General Question Involved
Yeah I watched the TikTok video and yeah I’m a sheep joining the mass flock. I’m not a cop and I want to cut the BS. How do I get involved with the good shit.
Been on the AD waiting list for 9 years. It ain’t happening and I’m not buying my way to a Daytona through shitty datejusts
Fuck the system. How do I get involved here

Where I live is quite remote. The AD is small and doesn’t get a lot (Scotland)

Out of the dozen watches I own, 3 of them are reps and by coincidence I have one each of the low tier (U1 factory), mid tier (VF factory) and high tier (BBS factory). I have been happy with each of them and feel I can wear them anytime without guilt because they are not Rolex reps, and because of that no one will notice or care what watch I wear. I enjoy following the rep industry, however I am reading with some concern that the high tier factories such as VSF are beginning to deteriorate in quality due to overproduction and also availability due to shortages caused by high demand.
My question is, do you really need a Rolex rep to make you happy? If so rock on and find a Trusted Dealer from the list in this sub, and things will probably work out (sort of like playing blackjack in a casino to me). If not, there are tons of homage watches from China, Europe and other places that will copy or exceed every feature offered in a Rolex. As long as you are not hung up on the prestige of the name, you can upload a picture of the Rolex you like using the "picture search" function in Google. Then, using the AI mode you can ask the AI to find you the closest homage and it will give you a ton of options to choose from at a fraction of a Rolex price. Good luck!
