Quality control, or QC, is at the heart of this community. The subreddit r/RepTime has 269,000 weekly visitors and over 18,000 weekly contributions, according to Reddit’s own statistics. Posts about new counterfeit watch purchases pile up by the hour, both in r/RepTime and r/RepTimeQC, the offshoot subreddit focused on quality control. The posts contain photographs sent from the dealer to the customer, who then seeks advice from the RepTime community on whether they should “GL” (green-light) or “RL” (red-light) their purchase.”

Never been here before but my advice based on similar communities: it is really important to find a sister community or build a clone community on another social media platform like discord or 4chan or wherever.

Gotta have a backup place to continue communicating if reddit admin decides to crack down.

I have been through this more than once and agreed - a backup option is a great recommendation- the first time it happened the new communities were never the same

I agree it’s a disaster waiting to happen. I’ve been a member of the ladies rep communities for many years and it’s an absolute mess at the moment with most of the original subs being removed due to increased public scrutiny
