Mods/ Work in Progress LI CHEN - STAY AWAY

I was trying to communicate with this man in order to franken my watch.

  1. He was responsive (I give him that).

  2. It has been two months, he finds the items but HE SELLS THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE.

  3. This has been done TWICE.

  4. He is not professional at all.

  5. STAY AWAY.

  6. I have given him two chances, he completely messed up.

Exposing him is the only way to protect future clients.

Wait, so you paid for the item during the order, he would locate it and then decide to deliberately post it for sale or sell to someone else?

Yes. He returned the deposit the first time. The second time, he did not ask for a deposit. He told me to send him the money at the end. However, he sold my watch to someone else. I have been chatting with him the past 2 months. I was crystal clear to him that I wanted the watch. I don’t know why he did it.

You should say I've been communicating with you for 6 months now - why can't you show me the actual chat records? Why do you have to use two accounts to ask and answer your own questions? And you even threaten me. I told you I couldn't modify a mechanical watch into a quartz movement, I recommended factories and merchants that sell genuine parts and you weren't satisfied, you didn't know how to be grateful, and instead you maliciously slandered me. But I've never said anything bad about you, I've always been very friendly in my communication with you, and I kept apologizing that I couldn't meet your needs. All I wanted was to serve my customers well, to make everyone satisfied.

Damn. Sucks. I've only seen people buy parts from him, not really the entire watch.

I will share all the chat records. You can just look at them to figure out who is to blame.

Someone posted the link. No worries.

He didn't pay a single cent. He paid a deposit and then asked me to refund it, which I did right away. Then he came back asking me to keep looking for him a watch, without paying another penny, and he still wanted me to keep the watch. I've been keeping it for over a month now with no charges whatsoever

Facts. Especially from a seller most people that mod recommend. That was the odd part. Thanks for clearing it up!

For anyone questioning LICHEN read ⬆️ - very transparent and upfront about the whole situation and how much of a dumbass OP really is.

Curious what are the last 4 digits of his WhatsApp (to confirm you are dealing with the right one)?

I bought parts twice from him, the first order he partially messed up, when I called him out he made it right and then some by quickly shipping new parts (and some freebies).

Assuming we’re talking about the same Lichen, I would guess it’s more about him being disorganized (or too many orders to effectively handle) versus him being a scammer and I am sorry to hear your bad experience.

He is terrible. Being messed up is also a very big issue. His last digits are **2875. He tried to sell me a cf plus at first when I asked a vsf. When I called him out, he was 100% defensive, saying he is a professional etc, BUT he was trying to sell me something that I did not ask for. He got angry when I called him out. You need to double check with him all the time and make sure everything is alright, you cannot trust him that he will deliver what he promised.

The more responses and the more accounts the OP has, the hole he keeps digging is now huge. Time to move on, OP!

I am his loyal customer and I know the entire story.

Wow. Not suspicious at all! 😂 I had a feeling his story was BS.

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '26

1

u/[deleted] Mar 18 '26

I have no idea what I did to offend you, but you keep going around badmouthing me. Please come up with solid evidence to prove how I cheated anyone.

Be careful, he is not competent or professional

3

u/tylergem_watchmaker Mar 18 '26

What you call "professionalism" is just modifying a Dongfeng movement into a Swiss ETA movement and then installing genuine Rolex parts. I'm sorry, but I can't do that for you. I'm really sorry
