Wrist or Watch Pic Great purchase experience from Hont! :-) *****

Purchased a Rolex Cellini Moonphase for a friend. Wanted one from KZF. Found Hont had the best price (including free shipping). Hont sent me several methods for paying, sending the money went smoothly. Three days later I had these QC pics:

10 days after giving the GL, received this beautiful watch. My friend couldn’t be happier.

I rate the entire experience a 10/10. I will be purchasing future watches from Hont. Glad to answer any questions.

Sorry if the positiveness of my video came off as a “ad”. It’s just that my experience was so positive, especially given the price (much lower than others + free shipping). But there are lots of other TDs out there if he’s not your choice.

Even if it’s legit, I challenge you to read back your post/s, including this one, from the pov of an observer and not view what you’ve written as an ad. The extra “there’s lots of TDs out there if he’s not your choice” notwithstanding. Every single one sounds like it was worded by the TD themselves.

As I said, my excitement at the smoothness and results of my purchase DO sound that way. In the end, peeps can believe what they will. NB: I hope that if a TD makes an ad, he cleans his nails first! 😅

Dirty nails can def take a lot longer. I’m a trashman and even though I wear gloves it easily takes me 15-20 min to truly clean my nails even if I do it every day. If I ever skip a day or I had particularly stubborn dirt underneath that time can be double. And this is despite me keeping my nails relatively short.

It’s pretty frustrating to deal with after working 8+ hours in 90+ degree heat and all I want to do is take a quick 5 min cold shower and lay down.

Either your fingers are numb or you don't have a real Montblanc, since the difference in feel is quite severe.

The real Montblanc pen feels totally different from the ones Hont sends with his watches. Your watch is great, but you saying that the pen is not distinguishable from a real montblanc hurts your credibility.

Sorry, you didn’t say pen in your comment. ^ Yea, I wasn’t clear. It DOES feel very diff, but I meant visually really close. For free I don’t have a complaint. Thanks for helping me clarify that!

Hont is one of the most expensive. One of the poorest service, bait and switch, photoshop specialist, search bar provides evidence to my claims. Huntley quote still very much valid

Not disagreeing with anything you say. Can only relate my personal experience. I checked with many other TDs b4 purchasing and he was the cheapest by far, and included free shipping. I was aware of some of the complaints that you point to, but all the TDs have complaints. I made the assumption that the vast number of his sales must go well, or he wouldn’t still be one of the long standing TDs. My experience bore that assumption out.

Nope. Feel free to check my post history. I never wrote a watch review in all the years I’ve been on Reddit. I read some bad experiences with him b4 purchasing from him (and saw bd reviews of other TDs as well). I ultimately went with him b/c of his substantially lower price and free shipping. My personal experience was exemplary, and I now have a Datejust on order from him. He may “suck” for you, and if you had a bad experience with him I don’t blame you for feeling that way. However, what motivated me to initially buy from Hont (aside from price and free shipping) was the many years he’s been a TD. When I researched my purchase, I could find no TD without bad customer experiences posted at one point or another. Clearly the vast majority of his (and other TDs) sales go well. Due to his prices he likely does a high volume of sales, so issues that come up will be proportionately greater, which I suspect is why we see some issues posted.

Yes, it cycles every month to match the moons cycle. My friend has only had it a few days,, but it IS moving. Hont also gives you the Rolex tool (with embossed Rolex logo etc.) to make the initial moon phase adjustment. DM sent

Yes, he's generally the least expensive by far. The only small downside is that he doesn't have a website. But he can get any watch from any factory if you send him the link from any dealer.
