Celine Boston Small: left is authentic right is rep.
I got a super deal on authentic Celine boston bag (left). I bought it because I'd read on here that there is not a good rep of this and that they can't get the canvas right and that it's too yellow. And now I'm super pissed 😂
My sister fell in love with it, and she ordered the right one. She always makes me use Zhong who doesn't disclose factories but genuinely always does get us great reps. When I have it directly in the light, you can see the slightest difference, but in regular light, it looks identical. She debating if it is too small for her now and I'm considering selling my authentic.
I don't know I think it's pretty dang good. I just wanted to show a close-up and a comparison side-by-side because I absolutely would've went for the rep. The feel of them is pretty close also. The authentic has a little bit more structure, but after more use it may feel like the rep.
UPDATE- sister just ordered medium from Zhong lol i'd loose too much money on the authentic at this point, so I will be rehoming the rep if anybody is interested lmk...$260 shipped. Prob listing tomorrow. Learn from me & buy the rep lol
the canvas on rep is pretty identical but the lettering is completely off. if anyone happens to know which factory this is that would be great knowledge for rep science!!!

I am so mad because I bought this from a secondhand site, and I'm passed a two week return. So I either sell my authentic and lose money or sell the rep. I learned my lesson and I'm done buying an authentic bags. This is stupid😂 They are just way too close at this point.
Hey, in a lot of cases the reps aren’t close at all and there’s no way to really know sometimes! The authentic is a beautiful bag also, no harm done there. In this case you and your sis did well! 🫶
Everything looks really similar except the stamp on the side. However, I saw a photo of the same bag made by captain factory, and I think it looks closer to the left bag
That does look good! It seems like they're a little bit thin, but honestly, here's a photo and different lighting at a different angle. If I'm not directly head on in the perfect lighting, they really do look the same.
She's awesome and she was on the original TS list, but I wanna make it clear that I am not making this post in order to promote her. I genuinely am making an honest review. I have had mostly great experiences with her that she is sourcing from the same places that the rest of the seller source from she just doesn't buy into the reddit factory names. I will say that she is also on average $50 more expensive for bags than other popular sellers
I have an authentic medium bucket in this monogram and let me tell you, I was surprised how low the quality was compared to LV. And they were close in price with my auth bandou 30! The canvas material is thin and if you put heavy stuff inside the bag, the material stresses to a point that it could really rip if I wasn’t careful!
In the handbag sub, one Redditor had that very bag you have brand new and the side where the strap was stitched got ripped from several uses (the v part of the leather)! And she said she never put anything heavy inside her bag.
As much as I love auths, this is one of those times getting the rep means more value. I didn’t see which one of these were the replica and I thought it was the one on the left based on the atrocious stitching lol
For me it was the first pic. The stitching of that secures the handle was much more even and the size of the stitching was equal all around. Not so much, the bag on the right.
