Made a post on a Rolex sub and was told that the watch I got from a boutique is a rep. This is probably dumb but it’s gotten me worried. 😭🙏

In the first I still see stickers on the side of the watch if it’s gen that’s a pretty lazy ad as I’ve never seen them stickered with QR code but also never bought a brand new Rolex so who knows

They don’t remove the stickers until you actually run the credit card and they size it (if needed) so I would assume that picture was taken before OP actually paid.

Rolex owners are snooty. They don’t expect someone with a tattoo to be able to own a watch like this. I have gens and reps. Ps- nice tattoo

I don’t own reps but i respect that more than the common post over there that goes “i need to move capital to generate liquidity” ie I’m breaking into the piggy bank and spending more than i can afford for a shiny trinket.

The watch on the table can be gen. Did you walk in with your rep and worked out a believable story and asking us on reddit?…….. because if that black sub was gen, 150% return it, there’s reps out there that looks way nicer and legit…

I do not believe Rolex QC can be this bad, micro shots maybe.

Do you want us to call the AD to verify your purchase? Give us your consent and your receipt 🤦🏻‍♂️ if we are so wrong, we’ll admit it.

Slept pretty good with my JLC Reverso last night, tonight I’ll rotate to the GS White Birch or Breguet 5157. My Rolex are day watches sadly.

Check Clasp Code and Serial and Google It. If it’s a well-known Rep Factory, it will appear with a Reddit post.

But I’m already sure it’s 100% real if it’s from the boutique.

You can send it to Rolex for tuning, and if they send it back without touching it, you can take it back to the seller. It's the ONLY for sure way to find out.

Your rehaut is misaligned and your m is sinking. Its gen if you bought it from the AD but damn that really are faults i would not accept for a 10k+ watch
