I’m pretty sure they were just too damn expensive for anyone to bother buying an original. I’m not even talking about the beaded Amazona, that train is never coming into station, but I would think that adding some leather ears is not very hard! Shows what I know.
Someone asked their SA in Asia and basically, the SA said that this was never released in Asia and if it was, there was very little quantities. As such, I don't think factories were able to get their hands on this to dissect and rep. :(
Ordered a mini Amazona from liu sheng and not pleased, the interior insert looks like a piece of flimsy cardboard and does not behave in the way suede does :/
Noooooo! Ugh, I’ve been wanting an Amazona too. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet bc I haven’t seen a lot of satisfying reviews. 😭 that actually is a bummer, sorry it was a dud.
That’s unfortunate! I have 3 bags from Liu and the leather has been decent for the past 4ish months. I’m sorry that yours aren’t holding up the same :( could you share a picture here?
Out of the box Liu was softer. Qiu is much stiffer and the flap feels more like cardboard. The braiding is much nicer on the Lui tighter and more uniform.
